Do you run the less lethal store..I just ordered and received duke extreme peppers and a bottle of glass breakers from you...I'm feeling the glass breakers as good impact option
@edgefitness4700 actually no I do not run that store , I just got to know the owners really good good through talking to them and making purchases on phone and online because there in same state about 4 hrs one way from me . As for the ceramics here’s the sight where I ordered them mcsus.com/products/68-cal-polymer-impact-rounds-100ct-bottle
I just bought the BYRNA SD and I'm a total newbie. I would like to get extra ammo to practice and Byrna seems expensive. Are all these projectiles usable in my Byrna? I'm a female just looking to defend my home against an intruder. I know not to use the pepper balls indoors, so I would like to just have the rubber bullet projectiles. Where do you buy these? The home wrecker balls seemed good. Can you help me?

I recently discovered with a ball gauge, that the Byrna projectiles are larger than "JulV3 rounds, Homewrecker" and all others so far. That means to me, they have to be that size to achieve the best bore match to the barrel. So now I will only use the factory Byrna rounds in my LE for carry.
You still think the 4.5 home wrecker are the best for the LE ? I bought them and also bought 3.6 blue nylon projectiles from amazon but am not sure which one is better. Which one you think would hurt the most in a 10 round mag ?
@@larrysierens1029 they will work but heavier rounds will loose velocity fast in the byrnas, I recommend nothing higher then glass breakers and byrnas because at short distances no more then say 15 feet both will hurt
Checked out MCS to look at the ceramic rounds and saw some colorless paintball rounds for training and an even better round...68 cal Skunk Rounds 😂. Now there is a deterrent... Making someone smell like they've been sprayed by a skunk. You could mix them in with the other rounds and really surprise an intruder. Now if only I could find the itching powered they made back in the mid 80s. That stuff was nasty. It reacted to the natural oils on your and made you feel like you were covered in fire ants.
Be careful, I had a pepper ball crack open on it is own in my Byrna SD, recently. That was some hellish cleaning. Did some research and found other owners have had the same issue happen to them. No more pepper rounds go into my SD anymore, just kinetics and max. I have to try those Glass Breakers, though.
@@RapidAssualtTactics Well, I think you were saying don't use the Grimburg projectiles out the Byrna they are not effective. I guess you are saying they are too heavy to shoot out of the SD, too slow I guess??

That has happened to me every time so I keep a asa on off on so I can degas it without o ring issues. Hope that’s helps answer your question
You guys with the byrnas should try the hdr68 and order some DK Spencer custom kinetics 10.5 gram rounds they are absolutely crazy but speaking of byrna I love some good 7-11 gram ball it's perfect for the new LE model
I agree for the byrna LE but waiting on new version as for the heavier rounds over 8 gram the performance just isn’t there and had been known to cause damage to your bolt there too heavy and also you need to do a lot of exspensive mods to get the proper FPS out of 9-10 gram rounds just like the z rams those damage my bolt had to order new replacement
Got an LTL Bravo in addition to my Byrna... 500fps, 18J, .50 caliber, using aluminum rounds mixed with Pepperball rounds (I checked with Chiappa, the manufacturer and they said the barrel is high quality metal so aluminum rounds won't hurt it at all) and it works great as a daily carry for me here in AZ. The hdr68 is a great launcher and it's very versatile, but I just can't get past the butt cap for some reason lol. There are so many good self defense launchers on the market today and better ones being developed each year. It'll be interesting to see what comes out in 2024.
@krr91766 that is true but also not true , while my launchers are under warranty I use there ammo but once out warranty I’ve used from 2.8G to 10G rounds never had any issues . But if you want best performance in the LE SD EP and HD there ammo is best option I wouldn’t go higher then 3.7 G that’s if up close using them .
