I encountered an error while installing Hackintosh that said, 'An error occurred preparing the software update.' I changed the smbiosis settings and disabled the secure boot model, but these did not work. Please help me.
@@litemint09I tried both the Dortania and Olarila methods, but both failed with the same error. It successfully boots into the macOS installer, and the installer downloads macOS, but after that, the macOS logo shows with a timer, followed by an error message popping up in the installer. I tried this method first, but it showed the same error, which is why I used the Olarila method. The OpenSimplify application shows the wrong ACPI and does not include the proper device properties. What should I do next?
Hi. Great tutorial by the way, i just have a small issue. I have an MSI laptop with both a GTX 880M and Intel HD graphics 4600. I hackintoshed using your tutorial and used Monterey. I have an issue though - the screen looks all glitched out. Do you have any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks for the appreciation man, Do you have this -wegnoegpu on your boot-args? Using that it will disable your GTX, I believe it can be usable on High Sierra Try uploading your config.plist on here sanitychecker.ocutils.me/ It will tell you which one are supposed to be enabled or disabled on your config. Check the Device properties if its properly configured for 4600 graphics.

Do you know how we can prepare the SSD (partition-wise) and the EFI, when we are dealing with an older PC/Laptop that needs MBR and does not have uefi? I have an older laptop with a 2nd generation intel, it has the old Bios and I suppose needs MBR to boot. I follow your guide and the disk is not recognized on reboot.
