So i think the story is that the mc lost his family during the crash in the highway, and when he came home he only had the dog left that somehow survived the typhoon. He lived life depressingly after surviving the crash, and the dog was already old, so when bonta died the mc wanted to take his own life because there was no one else in it. But somehow, after bonta already passed peacefully in his sleep, he still woke up to save his owner who hxng himself, and gave the mc a "second chance", especially because he blamed himself for his family's death in the highway (survivor's guilt). He survived the attempt, and decides to just live until it's his time, until he can meet his family and the dog again.
Just my theory, but every night when Bonta barks, Bonta actually sees grim reaper n trying to shoo them away bcs of how many times mc tried to take his life. N there's a belief that animals can see something that humans don't

Well yeah you live in a place distant from others it would be a lot stranger for something to be at your window/door, I live in a neighborhood and I still get scared from seeing the trees moving or hearing a sound at night😭. I wanna live in a distant area because I love being alone but I have a fear that I'm not ACTUALLY alone and that something is there watching.

I have a pomeranian who is abut to turn 12 this March. She's the daughter of my first dog and I've been with her every day since she was born. She's very healthy and energetic (though she's just now recently recovering from kennel cough) but I dread the fact that I know her time is nearing. She's the one person that keeps me grounded to reality and eventually became my ESA. I don' know what I'll do when I lose her or even where I'm going with this comment but we're with you Jay and thank you for everything you do for us and I know Sakura was so lucky to have someone like you in her life

Loosing a childhood dog is hard, I still remember my good boy, Maka, an Australian Shepard border collie mix. The part about Bonta climbing the stairs really hit me hard cause Maka struggled to climb the stairs when he got older. I’ve had a rough couple of months and this video genuinely brought me to tears. I’m still tearing up typing this. The game was honestly so powerful. For the longest time I’ve struggled with my mental health so badly that I’ve considered doing something terrible a couple of times. I’ve almost gone through with it in the past, especially after the death of someone who I never considered would die. Thankfully I met a man who’s helped me in ways he’ll never understand. Most days aren’t easy, and I still have those thoughts from time to time, but with him by my side, it’s getting better. Thank you for posting this video even though it wasn’t easy. After watching this video, this really made me miss my dog. January 5 2025 was the day I lost my second dog, Luna. The sweetest good girl my family ever had, she was taken too soon by untreated distemper. I still have a video of her during December 31 around 12PM where we all celebrated a new year and you could clearly see the tiredness in her eyes but my girl fought for us to join in this new year. Next day, she had her first seizure and every vets were closed, we were devastated that we couldn't get any help for her besides TLC, it took another two days until we can finally get her to the vet. My heart broke to see her suffering; how she twitched, the discharge from her eyes and nose, the seizures... January 4 2025, It was a 40 minutes drive to the specialized vet where we left her in. Her usual beautiful brown eyes had gray and my sweet girl was so weak she couldn't wag her tail anymore but when my dad carried her, she instantly nuzzled close to him. I didn't know she was saying goodbye by then. I got to see her one last time before the next day when we got the devastating news that she collapsed, the doctors did everything they could but eventually, we lost Luna. We were heartbroken, she gave us so much joy and received so much pain. She's buried in our house where she can guard our little home forever in spirit. Thank you, Jay, for this video. It really makes us appreciate our pets no matter if they're a cat or a dog or even a pet turtle. Cherish them, love them and they'll return it ten fold.

He wasnt built for the snow, but he always loved it, so i brought his collar outside with me like we used to when he was alive. It’s funny how this actually made me cry so much, I lost my baby of 6 years 2023 on Halloween and this reminded me that she’ll always be with me❤️🩹 Hope our dogs are having the best time up there.

Hi Jay, recently 3 of my cats died. Yesterday marked the 2 months from when one of them died. When you talked about how she would stay by your side no matter what when you didn’t feel good, it reminded me of my cat. Everytime I was crying he came and laid by my side. Im so sorry for your loss, and im just here to say I understand your pain. ❤️

I’ve had a rough couple of months and this video genuinely brought me to tears. I’m still tearing up typing this. The game was honestly so powerful. For the longest time I’ve struggled with my mental health so badly that I’ve considered doing something terrible a couple of times. I’ve almost gone through with it in the past, especially after the death of someone who I never considered would die. Thankfully I met a man who’s helped me in ways he’ll never understand. Most days aren’t easy, and I still have those thoughts from time to time, but with him by my side, it’s getting better. Thank you for posting this video even though it wasn’t easy. Your videos make an impact on people like me, and just how you’re here for us, we’re here for you too.

Been following you since the early Yansim days, but didn't know about the loss, man. It's so easy for pets to start feeling like family, so sorry for the loss, though I'm 2 years late. My gf still finds herself breaking down a couple of times in the year when she's reminded of her cat, which passed in 2023.

After watching this video, this really made me miss my dog.
January 5 2025 was the day I lost my second dog, Luna. The sweetest good girl my family ever had, she was taken too soon by untreated distemper. I still have a video of her during December 31 around 12PM where we all celebrated a new year and you could clearly see the tiredness in her eyes but my girl fought for us to join in this new year.
Next day, she had her first seizure and every vets were closed, we were devastated that we couldn't get any help for her besides TLC, it took another two days until we can finally get her to the vet. My heart broke to see her suffering; how she twitched, the discharge from her eyes and nose, the seizures...
January 4 2025, It was a 40 minutes drive to the specialized vet where we left her in. Her usual beautiful brown eyes had gray and my sweet girl was so weak she couldn't wag her tail anymore but when my dad carried her, she instantly nuzzled close to him.
I didn't know she was saying goodbye by then. I got to see her one last time before the next day when we got the devastating news that she collapsed, the doctors did everything they could but eventually, we lost Luna.
We were heartbroken, she gave us so much joy and received so much pain. She's buried in our house where she can guard our little home forever in spirit.
Thank you, Jay, for this video. It really makes us appreciate our pets no matter if they're a cat or a dog or even a pet turtle. Cherish them, love them and they'll return it ten fold.

I also lost my cat two years ago on this very month, so I feel you in the feels and I remember you posting about Sakura. Sakura was a lovely dog, and I'm sure she's watching over you too. Our families will always hold a special place in our hearts and we carry their love for us in our memories and hearts.

Just lost my other childhood dog at the end of november, after losing my first one in 2021, we got our first snowstorm of the year. He wasnt built for the snow, but he always loved it, so i brought his collar outside with me like we used to when he was alive. Itnever gets easier but your grief is just proof of the love you shared. Rip sakura, forever loved and in your heart, i hope your grief only gets less and less heavy
