i have skateboarded since 1989 and put together every complete i ever skated, but i've never heard anyone say install in reference to their grip. did you borrow this from your job? genuine interest.
This is by far the weirdest comment/question I’ve ever received on TH-cam, and I’ve had my share here. I’m not talking smack to you, but seriously, what an odd question. As for borrowing it from my job, I’m still trying to wrap my head around that. Would you care to elaborate? In all fairness, how many times has this come up in your daily conversations? In mine I can honestly say a solid zero. It’s just not something that’s talked about. I’ve only seen about a dozen other videos on here that even cover this, and they are split about 50/50 using the words install and apply. I guess I could always says gripped, stuck on the grip tape, adhered or various other words, but install seems fitting to me. I don’t know if that answers your question but let me know what you think.
@@Daddy_Reissues it just seemed to me like terminology used at a job. install software, install a new transmission, install the new stop sign... i'd just never heard it used for putting together parts on our skateboards. sounds good enough to me though. maybe i can apply it on My next install.
Beautiful. The pink and white combo really pops.
