I'm only 42 years old but I have travelled around the world, more than 60 countries on 5 continents. I ran away from home when I was 17 and never returned. I lived prosperously in 6 different countries. But I have never found " home". It took me years to understand that what was missing in my life was right in front of me. The Nature! A field, a forest, a swamp gives me that " home" feeling that no penthouse ever will. I speak 6 languages fluently but I really can not put this into words. We should worship this planet, not exploit it!
"It's said that at the time that the Spanish arrived in California it was one of the most heavily human impacted environments on the planet, that the California Indians managed California like a vast system of natural parks."
Also according to Carl O Sauer the first Spanish surveyors of California claimed there were already large Dutch settlements along the southern coast, modern day San Diego.
We belong to the Earth, it's not the other way around. Nature will do whatever she wants regardless of what we think. Nature and mysticism are the only things I seem to have affinity for. I'm in a tradition called Drukama, check it out. Be well all.
@@ryugo7713 No probem. Yea I have had a hard time finding things like precise instruction and practice based institutions. The Monroe Institute and some random other schools have had decent stuff too but my daishi at Drukama is on a whole other level
This is unrelated but Mckenna was into butterflies, he said something like "I was very prone to obsession... ( or something along those lines) first it was butterflies, then drugs/politics... Does anyone know that full quote? I can't find it anymore :( or the source of "A person who isn't afraid of losing their sanity, has already lost it." (I believe I heard it on mindrolling podcast but Im dying to find it again) Will be forever grateful. Kind regards
The name Terrence was trying to say, but which he didn't pronounce right, probably because he didn't remember the exact name, is Yaldabaoth; that was one of the most common names the Gnostics had for the evil creator deity.

And probably still would if the Spain hadn't invated California.

There were also pirates, not only the spaniards. :/
@@ClepsidraSideral Oh yes your right ~ I'll never understand the need to control or extort another person's space or land for that matter.

What was the Name of the christian god that Mr. Terrance was talking about?
YHVH El Jehovah etc I assume. God with a capital G, as culturally conceptualised by institutional christianity in its modern forms
They call him yahweh.
@@gongusdeedeetow1510 yes or Jah. Rastafarians are dope
