Great tutorial, very informational! Sounds like a fun, durable product, especially for journal covers. Thank you for your research, always very helpful!
I’ve had a roll for years so can’t wait for your tutorial to use it 😂. It’s apparently the stuff used on jeans, the brown labels on the back! Thank you for really helpful info 😊
Great and informative video! I've never worked with Kraftex before. It looks amazing though.. So looking forward to seeing your tutorial and how it turns out! Thank you so much for sharing, take care x
Such a helpful video - thank you for doing all the research for us! I hadn't heard of Kraft Tex before watching your Book Lover reveal video and I am so excited to try it out. I have already ordered some Kraft Tex and now I am off to order some Red Liner Tape! 💗💗💗
Hi Amanda, I too have ordered some Kraft Tex from Amazon, and also some red line tape. It should be here by Saturday, can't wait to try it out. Thanks for the info, as I've never heard of it before now...Ann in Canada
Ha ha my samples are super high tech and professional aren't they ? ha ha .. Thank you it will be very basic but it will do the job. Thanks for watching and commenting x
I made 12 books for my church group using this product for front and back covers. I used a ring type binding. I made gelli plate covers for it ❤. I am looking forward to your process.
I have never heard of this product but probably have bought things that used it in the past. This is an exciting product to make journal covers. I’m excited to watch the tutorials and thank you for all your research as always. Will you please include the standard measurements for those of us using chip board and card stock? I can’t wait to see how you do this one, it’s going to be gorgeous!
I found your video interesting. How does the Kraft Tex compare to book cloth? And is it safe to assume that it doesn't stretch? Is there a grain? Thanks Meg
It doesn’t stretch .. there are pre washed and un washed versions so if you had unwashed and then washed it I don’t know if it would when fully saturated but once it is in it’s ready to use state and you are working with it then it does not stretch. I have never used genuine book cloth so can’t compare. Yes it does have a grain like cardstock. But I didn’t find it mattered which way I cut it it scored and folded lovely. If I were using it to say make a bag I would pay more attention to the grain but for a journal cover I found it wasn’t a big deal x
Amanda what a nice idea, I am going to purchase some today, thank for sharing, enjoy your day.

I will mention sizing for chipboard in my 1st decorating video as I already did the Kraft tex version video which is coming tomorrow... x
Thanks for showing this product. Looks great. Where do you get your redline tape from?
I got my last batch from eBay you can get it pretty much anywhere xx
Never heard of this stuff gosh learning new stuff all the time here, I’m gonna have to google it to see if we can get it here
Try a haberdashery site or shop rather than general crafting x
