Kathleen, this was a beautiful video full of ideas and inspiration! Your color scheme throughout this journal is different and very lovely. The colors are a bit more than your typical soft pastels but not bold by any means. Your combinations of pieces to make clusters was also great because you did not indulge in overused images. I just made a journal which I wanna decorated. When you said at the start it will be a long video I thought I would not watch it but then when you started to decorate your blank journal I could not stop it . I made powders from broken-off pieces of pastels and Inktense blocks. I put them in a scrap of muslin, tied up with a rubber band. I often rub them over a whole page , to tint the paper before drawing.

I got a box of art chalk at a thrift store the other day and wanted to know what to do with them.
