Wow, I wish I found this channel sooner! Amazing concept here Ethan with the mind maps. I learnt so much from this video, and to be honest, I feel I've gotten the gist of the book. You summarised the core concepts well enough that I took away several actionable items I can start implementing to get ahead with my committments, at work, and in undergraduate studies. Going forward, I'm definitely implementing 'building a routine for deep work' and 'keeping a work progress journal'.

Really good review. But, you forgot to add some important information about how Cal divides subjects into 2 different groups and how to study for them and test-taking strategies. Besides, it is a good review of the book

There are short cuts to memorization. Such as the major system, the method of loci, spaced repetition, organizing/categorizing facts, etc.
