Aspinall has been heavyweight for ten years and not champion and has been submitted by a lhw. He's been tested. Jones won the belt right away beating number one ranked in the division. That's not tested till he beats all the lower ranked fighters or someone who can wrestle is what you'd like to say but if gane got through those wrestlers to the top I doubt they'll be messing with Jones 95 percent TD defense or giving him his first submission L

These are actually the best answers I've seen a fighter give so far.
Anyone else notice how alot of heavyweights and light heavyweights are so much more respectful and well reserved than the rest of the weight divisions? Little man syndrome must be a real thing.
Not just that. The HW division is just less competitive. They don't need to hype up their fights to stay in the UFC. Aspinall spoke about it briefly in a podcast.
It's about selling the fights. Heavyweight fights sell without any trash talk because people always love to watch them. It's more of a struggle for the lighter guys to sell the fights, so they have to really push it. Smaller guys also have a harder time getting to where they are than the big guys.
