These are some great camp locations to use for resources! You automatically have extractors to place at your camp if you are around any deposits to help you gain materials. Just in case any of you are wondering how you get the extractors.
I just got got this game after hearing it’s finally ready to play. I didn’t know most,if not all,of these tips except the tutorial stuff. You have given me a lot to think about thank you . 👍
I had a camp at number three for a LOOOOONG time. One of the benefits is that people tend to be in that area around level 30, and are usually running low on supplies and places to rearm and repair, so a nicely built base with beds to sleep in and a vendor full of ammo and meds is usually VERY much appreciated.
1: iron copper 2: junk water 3: phosphate/fertilizer acid water 4: lead junk 5: copper iron/steel water 6: lead acid 7: oil water 8: concrete water +close trader 9: crystal 10: uranium/nuclear (water) +cranberry
@agentnukaz1715 If you're looking for rare you go junk just know that most of the junk is just that junk(steal, asbestos, cork, crystal, and wood)with the occasional rare crafting component. Junk can include stuff to scrap to provide the following rare material screws, circuit boards, springs, gears and the occasional adhesive. They don't sell for a lot of caps to vendors. If you really just want to make caps build around water sources with multiple industrial water pumps.
Man I have only been playing a few weeks or so. I didn't even know that mining was really a thing on here. Thanks for the vid and keep fighting the good fight.
If you are hurting for lead, unlock the lucky hole mine near the savage divide and go in and clear the cultists out for the weapon scrap and the lead ore. If you wear excavator PA, you can get over 340 lead ore if you hit all the nodes.
My first camp was the Lead/Junk up north until it became too well known. Planted my final roots at Thunder Mountain Substation. It has a Junk extractor, and as a bonus; constantly spawning Deathclaws/ Bugs for XP, loot, meat, and black titanium. The sunken bunker near by has a little ultracite node hidden in the water, and will spawn a magazine regularly.🙂
The little junk holes are fkn amazing lore wise. We in the south have spent many of hours picking thru old such junk piles looking for old bottles a time or two. I have one behind my house literally just a random hole in the woods full of junk. These sadly do exist in the wild
Great vid. I watched back in January when i got the game but thought I'd comment now as all four camp locations I've used have been these! Just built on 6th location. Was a bit fiddly but got there!
Great video man! This one was super useful thank you so much if you can make more that would be great. Glad that you're back at it again I hope the family is doing well
You forgot that there is an extractor for wood too. Wood is also a resource for camp building. You can find a location where there is a log pile and place a camp in that area.
There is a really good wood spot to camp with a wood resource spot and piles of wood right at the wood mill place down the hill from vault 76. I got a buddy camping there and he farms the wood it even comes with a couple of those wood collecting robots. Also I sell bulk wood at my camp for 10 caps a bulk.
Wood is stupid easy to get. There's a logging camp I think it's called Sylvia's logging camp or something and the yellow wood shack in helvetia. If you have the woodchucker perk maxed out, you can get a bunch more than you normally wood. Also, pick up and scrap EVERYTHING!
I can’t remember where exactly but there’s a mini junkyard really close to that 2nd location you showed and it has a wood and junk extractor there!! Definitely the best spot to farm for wood and random junk
Great having you back man. You & Angry Turtle are my all-time FO76 content providers. Unfortunately I don’t think you’ll be doing that many more as being truthful the Pitt has been a disappointment for me as I can only see it keeping me occupied for another couple of weeks as it is not the dlc that ‘76 needs for anyone playing img this game for over a year at least. You know what I mean. Good to know all is well in your life & hope for some more content from you Rifle?
I'm a new player and I recently came across a junk pile and also a bee hive to farm the daily. I immediately built my camp there and started extracting free jink
In a future video it might be worth mentioning the produce cap on extractors and purifiers how they’ll only hold x amount so people know the frequencies to collect them ie fusion core generator holds 3 max and produces 1 every 7 minutes
Personally my pick would be anything close enough to fissure for those juicy Scorchbeast meat chunks giving me +8 Endurance +8 Agility + 8 Intellect + 8 Luck. These bonuses are above anything else. This is also how you get enough Ultracite to craft ammunition. So it's 6th camp location.
I had a really good spot for aluminum it's right by the pumpkin house you can get daily rewards and if you go from the deposit toward the east there will be a shack if you go to it by the outhouse there's a chance there will be 1 to 2 cap stashes that I gotten 200 caps with cap collector but downside there's no water
There's also a good camp spot to the north of watoga. You can build your base pretty much on the roadway, right next to water. Then from there, you can harvest concrete and water. It's also thankfully enough far enough from the relay station that you don't have to deal with the deathclaw and gulper spam.
Best one I know is Hemlock Holes Maintenance then you can set up a normal camp at the acid source WSW of it across the toxic lake/swamp and also farm a Grafton monster that spawns near that. Completely eliminates the demand on acid forever. got gold and crystal in the area also. makes ore farming totally easy and that eliminates any demand for lead steel and other mats. can do the mine missions plus the drill mish that comes outta the ground. Ammo is never a problem anymore. just check on it every half hour while doing missions.
Yeah I was immersed in your videos when I started out in fallout, being a stealth rifleman, my searches often lead me to your videos. So it's cool to see ya making new videos. Your welcome to join us with me anytime, got some cool buddies they'd love to have you check us out too
There is a spot near crater that if you place your camp just right you get 3 resource nodes. Takes some fine tuning usually to get it right and one of the resources will nearly be outside the build zone but still allow the generator when you get it right.
The fissure site down by Lake Ellouise has been closed down, they shut it a few updates back so it's safe to build down there now. Just gotta watch out for all the dang Floaters down by the lake area.
The best location is to the south, under the bountry and to the right of federal disposal. There is an acid node next to a lead node and it is a place with good views.
Those are great suggestions and some are straight up amazing locations without the resources. All the more reason to take advantage of that CAMP sale going on.;)
I set up camp a stones throw away from the cultist church. Unlimited steel and wood, as well as a halfway decent ammo farm right next door. New cultists spawn every time someone fast travels to my camp too.
I found a place that has both a junk extractor and a wood extractor practically next to each other and have been running that lately. It is right outside of the Organ Caves to the west.
Number 6 is my to go camp to feed a bloodied explosive and vampiric explosive .50 cal machine guns. In regards to the fissure site as long as you or anyone dont go near it wont ever be an issue.
I built a camp at the lead/acid cliff once over a whole day, had my house winding it's way up the cliffside and I was super stoked. Then I tried to power it up and I couldnt get the lead extractor powered because it was too high. Packed up and built somewhere else, always check if you can actually use both not just build em
@@xladymaniacxyt3748 I got everything set up fine, had both extractors built, made a badass house snaking up the Cliffside, decorated it, went and farmed some component for my generator, tried to power everything up, and the power connector on the extractor at the top of the cliff was outside the build area so I couldt connect it. I still get frustrated about that day a year later D:
my camp location is the first one and it is one of the best locations great view almost no enemies plenty of flat space iron and copper perfect for new and old players 👌
I named the 6th C.A.M.P. location with the acid in the cave and lead up on the top of the cliff, "Lincoln Rock'. Perhaps you can see it if you stand at the edge of the cliff on the furthest point of rock away from the lead deposit. Go into photo mode. Zoom out and look down at the cliff silhouette.
Hi, great video. I’m really needing a vintage water cooler as I’m moving my camp to whitespring as I hate enemy spawns when in my camp. I need a water supply and that’s the only way I know how to get one without a natural water supply nearby. There doesn’t seem to be plans anywhere. Any advice? 🙏
The first camp place on this video, was my main camp back on the beta of Fallout 76. Thanks to the old shitty system, I was force to rebulid my camp 26 times before they update it, to make sure you did not lose your camp because of a random dude or chick that have place their camp at your location.. This game have become alot better then it was in year 1 of it. 26 times? Yes and it was a nightmare...
I stopped playing 76 almost a year after it came out but unless it's changed there's a spot a little west of sunny top ski lodge and a little east of the power station. It's got a great view off the mountain and it's got a lead deposit
I've thought about building a resource camp lately, because my copper supply has started dwindling - and the output from workbenches is very lackluster (which is highly disappointing TBH).
I know. I pickup everything that I can and I always run short of gears, nuclear material, and acid. I used to run out of steel but since I started scrapping all the weapons I pick up, it isn't that big of an issue anymore.
5 out of 5 of my camps are at some of these locations already. The first one in your list, you visited my camp there 2 years ago when I entered your halloween competition, so you knew of that location ages ago 😋 Also, near Pleasant Valley Train Station, fairly near the concrete point, there is an acid node that's hidden underwater ;)
You were talking about the one camp spot that enemies wont spawn in the area once you build your camp; I built mina in the dried up lake area just north east of summersville dam but enemies still spawn there frequently. Is this a me thing or the area i placed my camp at thing? Super Mutants, ghouls, and scortched regularly show up and smack my generators around.
The farm near number 10 has a mirelurk queen and a bunck of mirelurks, so be warned. I just built there after watching the video, I am starting a Nukashine crafting base.
I skipped thru each location but there is one with copper and iron I think on a cliff top and if u place your camp thingymajig as close to half way down the cliff u can also reach more deposits one is acid in a cave it’s my best location so far but I’ve not played for a good few years
This might be a obvious question but im only 20levels in but i have fusion cores that only have 25% to 50% Can you charge fusion cores when you place a fusion reactor down? Or how do i charge them in general
