If the present ownership/management (And Juskewicz, too) were in charge back then, it would have taken 50 years for the design to come through.
After the '60s, Gibson has been run by a bunch of fools.
And if this comment bothers anyone, too damn bad... Les was underappreciated because he wasn't a crook, and he was true to the music and always looked out for the artists and the listening public!

That he did, his audience was right up there. And that's what makes the old guitars so valuable, they lost Les. Thank you Gene
