Awesome footage. Les was a true Renaissance Man. Genius and approachable and nice at the same time; what a great combination.

Amazing footage! Love Les Paul. A true legend, and that guitar was built in my hometown. Kalamazoo Michigan! I stop by and visit that old factory often ❤️

Thank you, the old plant was special to Dad too. I had a chance to go several times, and it was amazing.

Les Paul was one of the greatest guitar players and innovators in the music world, he deserves so much more credit for what he gave to the world. I had just gotten out of the Armed Forces in Nov. 1966 when he came to see my sister Susan and I perform our Les Paul & Mary Ford tribute, we were shocked , that was the beginnig of my 45 years with Les. Thank You Gene Paul for saving
    your dads history.

      Hi Tom,
The journey to put the website & youtube together has been one big honor. Dad had quite a life. I'd love to talk with you about that journey & get your input. Thank you
      Gene

    - Just been looking at the LesPaulRemembered.com site, it's wonderful. I was ridiculously lucky enough to have met Les Paul, twice, once in '96 & once in '98, at The Iridium Club (& outside while waiting for a cab). In '96 he walked over to me outside (I was on my own) & I got to have a, highly amusing, conversation with him for several minutes. All these years later it seems like something I saw in a film & I have to pinch myself, but it actually happened. Did it though? Yes... I think so. Really? Yes! Lovely man, lovely memory. Thank you Les, & thank you Gene for posting these videos & your site.

Les Paul is my hero !
I heard les Paul got a nice chuckle of money for every guitar with electric pickups and even bigger chunk of money fur every guitar with his name on it, is that money going to you now ? Is that true ?
I sure hope it's true because I just bought a les Paul special tv yellow that I just love and hope you get a cut from those hacks.
