- Tired of losing your bait and not catching fish? This rig helps you catch more fish using live shrimp with the addition of a second hook! The second hook is added so if a fish bites the head or tail it will be hooked. This rig will help prevent getting your bait stolen by tiny fish so I can focus on catching, rather than re-baiting.

Great technique with a popping cork for speckled trout...
We call them stinger hooks at the tail. Use them all the time for walleye and pike when they short strike.
Please show the whole rig. Thank you.
Anyone ever cast a shrimp with the head on? Ever reel it in and have the head still on it even without bites? Guess it works if you're just tossing it out.
I tried that yesterday in freshwater before you put your video out and they still we're coming off..Darnit!!!. I tried a 2x long large with q nite crawler and an egg loop today with a nite crawler...caught a few crappie back to back. Guessing the hook was far enough away from the knot they thought they were going to steal my bait again...nope.
Didn’t learn how to tie/rig it though :/
I fish fresh water but will be moving to the northern pacific coast in washington. Ive noticed you leave hooks exposed a lot. Is that a salt water thing? The only time I expose a hook is when fishing a wacky worm. I makes sense to me that a hook visual to me may appear unnatural to a fish. Is that not true for the salt water fish?
