Butterflies are some of my favorites and I love that color blue! A tip for you with the sizing bottle cap. If you'll notice childproof lids are two lids one inside the other. If you cut the top lid off with a pair of nippers, the inner lid is just a screw-top. Then you won't have to fight with it. Providing you don't have any small children in the house 😊

Glad it was helpful! I’ve always loved experimenting with all sorts of prints and I don’t remember the first time i came across or tried wallpaper printing but I have been collecting scraps ever since because it’s so fun! (I always do try to live up to my name 🥰 ) 💕 💕 💕
Love all the different embellishments you used. For about three years now, I don't feel like any of my paintings are quite finished without a couple😉of embellishments. Recently, I've gotten into molds. Oh, they are so much fun. Redesign with Prima has some awesome ones. The baroque scrollwork molds well with my baroque-style florals. I'm going to look into Instagram. I deliberately have avoided social media. I'm not into all the drama over nothing. But, I do love all things art. So, I'm going to check it out and if I do join I'll send some pictures your way. I haven't varnished my swallows yet, but when I get it all finished I'll send you a picture of that too. Who knows butterflies may be in my near future 😁.😊🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
Hahahaha that’s exactly how I feel! I can’t finish a piece until I’ve embellished it! Beautiful piece. I have a question about heavy gesso and. modeling paste. Should I be using heavy TSO to do the outlines of the butterflies or should I use the modeling paste. I have tried the modeling paste.(equated heavy body ) but I found that it didn’t hold it shape when I was wetting it and trying to move it around to get a better design of my butterfly. Thank you.
I have been watching your channel for a while and love your art. However, I noticed that you are inserting music into you videos that is very nerve jarring because you have such a wonderful sounding voice, very calming and then suddenly the music comes in and it is very jarring. I would prefer no music. Also, I have to adjust my sound each time (from your speaking to the music) up and down because there is such a difference between the two sounds. Otherwise, I love your beautiful art and innovative, unique techniques. I am bring this to your attention with kindest regards.

Where did you find the wallpaper? Anaglypta wallpaper is pretty difficult to find unless you want to spend a lot of money for a roll.

These beautiful Blue Butterflies brought back a wonderful memory of after I moved out of my home for the first time, and my mother asked me if I would mind if she donated my one and only bedroom suite, from ages 5 to 19, to a woman and her little girl that were finally getting back on their feet after losing their home and many other difficulties. I said yes. I was happy to know that my first bedroom suite would go to a young girl thar would love the suite as much as I did. My mother, when I was very young, sold Interior Design items, such as wicker looking butterflies, wall sconces, candle holders, etc. She decorated my room with Pink Butterflies. Noo!!! I wanted Blue Butterflies, never pink in my room. So she sanded them down and repainted them Blue for me. Those butterflies went with the suite, and the little girl loved them as much as I did. Thank you, AB, for unknowingly, bringing back a very happy memory for me. This was a wonderful tutorial this weekend, and a happy memory added to it. Have a wonderful week. See you next weekend. 🦋❤ 🦋

My husband was an artist, with numerous mediums. Though my Great-Aunt and Godmother had their works in art shows, I never thought of myself as artistic.

These butterflies are beautiful and something I can easily start with. Not alot of paint used, so it won't warp the shape of the canvas boards I have.
My granddaughter loves butterflies. Her favorite place is the Butterfly Room at the Milwaukee Myseum. This will make a great Xmas present for her.

Like this technique more than the super glue because you can flatten and change the shape of the lines. It look more natural and realistic, I love it ❤🦋

Sometimes the marks from my sketches which show through all my paintings. So now I tape my sketches onto the back of the canvas and place it on a light board. The lines on the sketches have to be fairly dark, but it works perfectly for me and I don’t have to worry about the lines showing through on the painting.
