Bletchley Park XL visit on 22.06.11

The XL Association visited Bletchley Park on 22 June 2011. Bletchley Park is where the secrets of WW2 were cracked, using the first computer ever produced. The German codes were transmitted by the Lorenz and Enigma machines and thanks to many now famous people including Alan Turing and Tommy Flowers and others, helped to shorten the war by an estimated 2 years. The XL Asssociation was formed by ex employees of London Weekend Television, and are responsible for organising outings for their members.
