Ditto Ramana Maharshi who could also put put peopje into samadhi & he also was able to remove all the remaining karmic roadblocks into merging with the absolute.
When he guided his mother into Brahman he saw like a fast forward movie, the last incarnations she would have lived had he not absorbed her karmic barriers to liberation.
Oddly enough he heard what sounded like a loud metallic sound as she merged with tge absolute.
I am going to digress & mention the materials I have studied about the E.Ts called the Pleadians who never mentioned to contactee Bilky Meier=Karma-Grace leading one to SAMADHI.
As an abductee for over 30 years here is my takeaway about this phenomenon. The the E.Ts visiting earth have a skillset more akin to entrepreneurs than saints.
In a galaxy filled with barren worlds earth's genetic diversity is a very rare commodity. This is big business and is the coin of the realm to trade with other planets for their exotic materials like element 115.They want a monopoly without any oversight from the natives.
The E.Ts on the moon mining H3 already have that monopoly.
See Pleadian contactee Billy Meiers material with a narrative by Randolf Winters...hit the video icon.
Finally the state of awareness NO E.TS POSSESS=See Ramana Maharshi Be as You Are Chapter 12 Experience and Samadhi...Sahaja samadhi-the unified field of awareness or Born Again when the ego is destroyed along with its subconscious mind-unconscious mind revealing the superconscious mind 24/7.

I think that Sam's experience with Papaji was so transformational because Papaji's teaching is so divorced from some kind of intellectual understanding of awakening, and it is the simplest of teachings to keep quiet and to follow the stream of consciousness guidance of someone who is so amazingly blissful and alive.

A self realized master is someone who has gone beyond the mind. Pure awareness and consciousness is the only and greatest true charisma there is. Papaji's eyes are that pure awareness. He is empty of the ego idea, and thats all the ego is.
I sat with Papaji and I can tell you that he was an incredible human being. The peace and silence he spoke of were in full display. ✨️
Remarkable and beautiful being beyond measure. 🕉
Thats all that matters to me, all else is speculation by the mind. Which is the very thing that needs to be dropped.
Then you can see clearly what is.
    Papaji or anything else.

I was in the presence of Papaji. I just saw an old man surrounded by fanatic believers, touching his feet, and so on. After “Satsang” there was a marketplace bazaar of devotees selling everything from cool yogi clothes, to massage “therapy”. The marketplace seemed to be made up of new age cool people who were hustling spiritual tourists, like me, selling everything at US dollar prices (in Lucknow, India), so they could live the New Age dream at the feet of their Guru. Maybe I’m just jealous.

Ram Dass pointed out that the Guru is neutral (no one is home) and is a nexus point for whatever one is bringing and open to in that moment. So with his Guru it was the same. One would see-feel light love as great as the sun, radiant. Another would see just an old man on a blanket. Some see the latter but get opened up through being there over some time. I had that experience in India. I needed to be "broken open" but when it happened I was enveloped and immersed in light and love for half an hour and could not move. that one experience made the entire trip worthwhile.
Both Ammas (there is another) and Shivabalayogi, nor my Guru nor Neem Karoli Baba (Ram Dass' Guru) did not charge for darshans. Did Papaji charge you?
It clearly was not your moment, your karma, (causes and conditions) would not allow it, There is no right or wrong, better than or worse in this. It was not meant to happen for you there.

Basic Premise: Presence is your natural state. Pointing out may be helpful, but the pointer isn’t someone to be worshipped. Someday, ordinary teachers will be pointing out presence to ordinary elementary school students. But for some reason we make religions and cults around it, and bow down in worship to it ( presence) and worship those who point it out. People like Papaji know this, the simple ordinariness and utter simplicity of Presence, and yet encourage devotees to worship him. His Graduate followers too, who have become famous teachers, like Mooja “Ji”, are raking in the money and prestige in propagating this lie: that they are special and you need the greatness of their teaching.

If there were no use for teachers like this, they would not appear in the dream. What you say is true but my experience is most people realize it in stages. In 1971 when the Universe through my Guru literally dragged me to him, what you talk about was so far beyond the capacity of nearly everyone. Now that the grid has been laid and anchored by decades of deep work, it is much easier to claim "it is all within, we don't need these people" after an ocean of grace has ben given. It is immensely ungrateful to the teachers that pioneered this all in the west.
There are stages and a place for everything. Years ago, and still today, if you or anyone else was not mentored in some way, by teachers, teachings, books, workshops you name it, the admonition "it's all within" would not amount to jack squat. Most people in the beginning could not find their own anus in terms of deeply, consistently, and authentically accessing what is "within", or even what "it" is or was.

This comment may come across as a geek comment, like i'm obsessive about Harris, but this observation is from a huge fan of his podcast and his Waking Up book, and i also like Papaji, and, therefore, a noticed this humurous bit of trivia i will like to share before it is eventually confined to oblivion!
Years ago Sam posted a clip of what he said about Osho's relentlss eye contact when speaking to you, and how a conmen can look at you and make you think there is a deep wisdom there. In other words, Sam was saying there is nothing to eye staring. In other words, gurus are merely using pary tricks to feed the gullable.
But after Sam started talking about Papaji's amazing eyes (in the Derren Brown interview) and subsequent mentionings of the guy like in this video, Sam took down the clip about Osho's eyes. This is fairly nobel and honest of Sam Harris. To go from one of the New Athiests so admitting he was a devotee of a guru is very impressive.

Osho was a psychopathic conman of the worst possible kind, responsible for numerous suicides and causing unestimable harm to countless thousands of people.
Many years ago (before his death) I knew and met many of his followers, and every single one of them was deeply psychologically damaged.
People who had come from extremely abused backgrounds, to the extent that they had learnt to seek love from an abusive parental figure.
This dynamic of a manipulative sociopathic person exploiting damaged people's vulnerability is common, but he really took it to a level few other sociopaths acheive.
It would be interesting to know the truth about his early life; whether he became a sociopath as a result of having been abused himself. But I very much suspect that he was in fact born as a full-blown psychopath.
Either way, he was definitely 44/44 on the Hare Psychopathy scale.

He can't do otherwise. He''s made the terrible mistake of linking the material welfare of his family to his being the certain "Sam Harris" that he's famous for. Now he's stuck with _being_ that "Sam Harris" . . .

i had no time for this Papaji when I found out he has screwed " a devotee" and had a child with her...At this point you know. The second point was watching him and his devotees....this was so cult like...they way they looked up at him in a Woodstock way...slavish and tears in their eyes..this was an emotional overload with no substance

In sitting with Papaji you simply wake up. Whether you ground that awakening and embody pure consciousness is your choice.

No. He said “I can give people temporary experiences, but I can’t make it stick”
      Nobody “awakened” with Papaji.

@@Korradreamworld Yes, it turns out that he outright lied to hundreds of people, telling them they were "enlightened" and that "their work was done", (after they had temporary experiences) when at the time he knew full well that he had NOT "enlightened" anybody at all.
      Here's a transcript:
David Godman : "You used to give experiences to a lot of people. Why did you do it if you knew that the effect would not be permanent?"
Papaji: "I did it to get rid of the leeches who were sticking to me, never allowing me to rest or be by myself. It was a very good way of getting rid of all these leeches in a polite way."
Nothing Ever Happened Vol. 3. by David Godman, p. 362.
To me, lying to people by telling them they were enlightened AND also sending dozens of these "enlightened" disciples out as teachers, is cruel, and irresponsible. Not to mention, what kind of "enlightened guru" would call their disciples "leeches"!

As a follower of Advaitha of Ramana Maharshi, I agree totally. Siddhis are deviations from reality that is Brahman and many advanced souls have deviated from the Truth because of this pitfall.
