I sang and played a couple of Rich's songs on guitar in Illinois. My then future wife whom I married in 2000, Pam, was about to meet and go on a date with Rich in 1997. Then Rich was taken home. I love Rich's talent and music. I am going to put my wife's ashes in our lake tomorrow with two close friends. I'm grateful that Pam and Rich are both enjoying Jesus in heaven. I look forward to being with Jesus, Pam, Rich, and all who are in Heaven when it's my celebration day.
Hi Tom, I'm really sorry for your loss. I am from Mexico and studied my uni at Friends University. When I was a freshman in 1994, I met Rich, had lunch with him a couple of times and he was such a kind soul. He wanted to learn so much and I remember telling him so much about my country and in return I learned to love his music. He graduated in 1995 and I never saw him again but I will always thank him for showing me so much of his faith and how he could translate that into beautiful music. Your wife is in a way better place now and will always look after you :)😇
Thank you for your kind words. My wife told me before she passed, that she would always love me. That is all I need to feel eternally loved by her. She even said, I could remarry if I want to. Pam is a 20 on a scale of 10. God bless you. Tom.
Not necessarily "too soon". It seems early to us. But, probably not to Rich... now? 😊 "We'll be together again." I hope you've been able to hear that song too... Also, one of his songs in this concert (If I Stand) talks of "a man who is longing for his home".

And CD. I got the Jesus Album, published after his death.

What a talented, sweet soul taken from the earth much too soon.

Just as JFK and Elvis passing, I can remember when & where I heard that Rich had passed.
