I’ve been blessed to get to meet with Phil on a few occasions. He had an aunt in AZ who was friends with my mom. I used to take her to his shows when he came to town. We’ve been back stage or he would come sit with us during a break. Talk about a Holy Ghost high when he got close. He was a worship leader for most, and could take an audience to the throne. What a trip that was.
definitely anointed. I’ve been playing for about 15 years and I can’t even come close to the foundation he’s laying. It is on a T totally different level.
I taped this special off tv back in the 90s! This was what made me want to learn how to play guitar. I must have watched this a million times back in the day. God bless you Mr. Keaggy for sharing your gift with the world and inspiring so many! True Believers, Salvation Army Band and County Down were my favorites.
Absolutely brilliant. God is good and Phil is too. I saw Phil perform live in the 80's with 2nd Chapter of Acts and Phil Driscoll at a church in Dallas, TX. Was an awesome time.
Thanks for posting. A slightly aged Phil but still jamming so well. So glad we have all these treasures recorded, if not on media, then at least in our hearts. So many great memories, Phil. Thank you for giving so much of your life for Jesus & for us, your fans.
Thank you for uploading this!!! I watched this live when I was a teen and haven't seen it in years--though I can still remember every note from the thousands of times I watched our fuzzy VHS recording of it :)
What's funny is the amount of mistakes that are in this performance. His nerves got the best of him. Could be why... I've seen him more relaxed. Also, now he takes the time to redo a part or takes a beat to quickly tune a string before carrying on. Being TV like Austin City Limits and such, usually you can redo a track - this must have been actual live tv.
GREAT! Best Key-agey I have heard so far.. I was born 9 months after Phil to the day and my grandpa promoted the greatest violin of 20th century.. God's fiddler.... Phil written over 400 songs..also.. please listen paneaglesong and contact gmail paneagle7 or peter adams youtube here SMILE..

I've seen Phil keaggy 3 times and he's amazing. I couldn't imagine how many people he's led to the Lord throughout the years
There is no one like this special brother. Mega-talented, but so humble.
A lot of guitar players are blessed but this fellow is Anointed ...
He can play, sing AND write. Yes, he is annoitted.
Been listening to him ever since I found Glass Harp album 1 in the early 90s. The one that has Children's Fantasy.

That guitar is just another extension of his body and soul.
This musical genius was gifted by God. I've been a musician all my life but Phil as at a level like never experienced.
Funny to see a lot of people in the crowd expecting to be preached to but instead getting a master class in acoustic guitar.
It’s Phil - I liked it before I heard it.

He is one of a kind, GOD Blessed!
Great voice, amazing guitar playing, the best message! He just keeps getting better…
Absolutely inspired and motivated again!
This is more talent than any rock and roll artist I've ever heard.
And not just talent. He developed his talent into incredible skill.

세상에나 필킥이 라이브 영상을 2024년도에 보네😮 95년도 부터 보고 싶었는데~~~~~😢
Me too, Thank YOU for Phil Kaeggy

The first song will be a great song to rejoice in heaven!
Typical Keaggy.
Fantastic.
Just Awsome !
Like one of best ever!
This is the best video album I've ever heard of Phil Keaggy!
Simply amazing!!
I love the intro piece-the use of the early sampler tech makes this sublime.
And the same on "Calling You", if I have the title correct.

3 people gave this "thumbs down"? That's bizarre.

Inspiration total in God! Salve phil
wowww awesomeeeee!!
He looks like ,when I saw him in New Jersey at Red Banks ;) in the 90's
My old Drum teacher Jim DeLong from a few years back did a couple albums on the road with Keaggy. Was an informative experience to say the least.
Dude is a absolute monster on the guitar. One day I'll see him in heaven and I'll ask him to teach me to play like he does.
Sensational.
Wild bill
Why is the middle finger capped(RH)? His talent shine's bright and brilliant, let's all do the same...Cheer's Phil and God Bless You.
What does “capped” mean?
The middle finger was cut off in a farm accident when he was about 4 years old. A pump fell on it as I recall Phil's explanation.

What's the story on the right middle finger? Love it's--- PERFECT.
He lost it as a child in an accident.
