Super nice sunrise. I have always liked sunrises better than sunsets for some reason. I think I enjoy the freshness and potential that comes with the sunrise. But yeah, that shot at 1:30 is so nice.
Love your wet sand pattern photos mate! And the photo at 16:01 is also just beautiful. Love the layers and the colours. I can really feel that calm beach vibe with some lovely Canadian breeze! (I mean all your works are great of course, but those three are my fav) Great work as always, my friend!
Hey Tim, you definitely have a creative eye for small/intimate scenes, sand patterns are a fav to shoot for me, you captured some nice images. If I can offer any advice, the obvious is just keep taking photos, practice is key. Of course there are many (other) aspects that will make an image standout, IMO light has the biggest impact. It affects colours/B&W tones in contrast to help create depth. One thing that helps me see images is studying other peoples work, I really really enjoy Richard Hamiltons' work, an incredible Canadian & highly prestigious Award winner..and I believe he lives/from NB as well. Some other photographers work I enjoy are (off the top of my mind) ~ Sarah Marino -her initimate images are incredible- ~Adam Gibbs (International landscape photographer of the year, lives in BC, also on youtube) ~Eric Bennett -has a great show on youtube "Brews & Views", also an incredible nature photographer, love his work. I have more "advice/suggestions" lul, but this is long winded as is 😅 Cheers, Will PS: I was eating dinner looking out my window, "out of nowhere" lol, an Osprey dove head & claws first into the Ocean coming up with a fish!! ..Of course no pics, but just to witness it was very cool! First Osprey I've seen.
I meant to include Freeman Paterson along with Richard Hamilton, these are two highly commended artists in Photography and both Canadian❤ One last thing😂 Richard Hamilton is featured on Eric Bennetts' "Brews & Views" on TH-cam, definitely worth the watch...I watched it in 4 parts, as it's 3 hours long lol😅 Cheers, Will
Thank you for all the advice Will! I am definitely going to check out "Brews & Views". I'm glad you got to see an Osprey as they are so exciting to watch, I expect you will be eating dinner with your camera in hand for the next week 😂
How do YOU predict where the best light will be?
Great job! Love the images.
Thanks Andrew!

Thanks Arty! That image at 16:01 does have a nice beachy vibe to it, to me it looks like a beach themed Windows desktop 😂
