Great tips! I love the wig/magnet hack. I was thinking I would need to maybe glue them on the inside of the head...the hard way! The wig idea wasn't obvious to me, but it is sheer genius!!! Thank you! I love that you repurpose containers, I have been doing that as well, some times I have to put them in the recycle b/c I save way more than I need.🤣🤣 The bag on the hand to get the hand down the sleeve is another brilliant idea! Thank you so much for making this video! It was a big help! 😊

There is also a ton of mini wallpapers on Pinterest. I just print those up for my dollhouses so it would work for your backgrounds also and it's the price of paper and ink. I have a good ink plan from HP so I never worry about how much colour printing I do.

I love these tips - thank you! Why haven't I thought of using wrapping paper to 'wallpaper' my Blythe dollhouse before?? LOL! xx

I got a nice blue wrapping paper from the dollar store to make the sky for a backyard diorama for my 10-12 inch dolls.

Oh my gosh the cotton bud container idea! Brilliant. I’m always not wanting to throw them but not knowing what to do with them lol
I bought one of those pill boxes too for my eyes. I think with mine the actual squares are too big tho as the eyes roll about a bit and I’m worried they will scratch the iris 🤨🤣

Just stick the eyes with bluetac inside the pill box, so they do not roll around ))

    Didn't skip ;)
However...I think I've guessed at least one of the dolls you were waiting for (with the unusual body) as I've watched many of your other videos and seen a very interesting unboxing ;)

Genius, what great ideas, soon as I saw the cotton bud boxes I thought short wigs would also store in them well. Love the pill boxes for eyes too.
Great ideas, really great, not being mean, I just wanted to give u a heads up on some things to watch out for tho, given the high cost of the dolls heads n items. I'm coming from a papercrafting background, scrapbookers go for cardstock that is acid and lignin free). So what? Why does this matter? Well over time the acid in the cardstock reacts to the lignin (natural resins) in the cardstocks and papers and discolours it as it degrades. Think of old books and how the pages have gone yellow. Given that doll resin is also porus, those acids and lignins could also affect it, also if there is any printing on the inside of boxes that could transfer too, so I'd be careful about storing anything porus in there for long periods, even if kept out of strong light or in gentle temperatures. Also in some ways the plastics. Some plastics react with each other if left in contact with each other for long periods. Maybe add some white tissue around the shoes in those boxes. Most shoes are vinal and don't last that long before they start to peel and if stored against each other may too stick together or react to the plastic storage boxes and melt on to them.
The ideas are fantastic, and promise I'm not trying to be mean, its only stuff I've learned the hard way from storing stuff n would hate to loose more expensive dolls n accessories to other products. Yeah I know you prob aren't going to invest in museum grade tissue n boxes to prevent them having acid n lignin in them but if your storing long term, that's the way to avoid the acids n lignins eating your stuff. I totally get that's not the point of the video. Just a heads up, you do you.
PS An often used phrase for that stare, 'cat caught in headlights' hehe that frozen in time n not moving glare. Thanks for sharing brillinat ideas x

This is a great comment, I DO appreciate you sharing your knowledge. I've watched all your vids, you've got loads of scrapbooking experience. Thank you for sharing again, I will definitely make a note of your suggestions! :) xx

@@oneclaydoll Thanks, yeah I had no idea about acid n lignin in papers/cardstock till I started deeper into bookbinding n papercraft. The cheaper the packaging the lower grade materials used so likely higher acid counts. I found out about plastics 'bonding' in not good ways from coming back to a plastic pen tray after a while n discovering the eraser had melted and glued itself to the plastic, same too in different area of the tray to the plastic barrel of the pen, also lettering had transfered to the surface too. hense my heads up about packaging with lettering on, youdon't want a random brand name bleeding into the resin do you .eek. love ur videos, please keep posting
