The smile that appears on face every time you hears the first few notes/words of a Beatles song is priceless. How can anyone not subscribe to your channel after watching your reactions

I know, she's so precious like I just want to sit on the couch with her and listen to beatles and talk about the music and meaning/significance and I'd probably end up crying at some point cuz I'm a cryer and the beatles give me a lot of emotions.
I just love seeing the enjoyment she has while listening, it's like my inner feelings played out through her expressions lol

How great to find. Someone who made the reaction to this BEATLES song.
And you came across one of the best BEATLES songs, on the best BEATLES album
"You never give me your money"
It is fantastic and creative, it surprises by the constant changes of rhythm, but it always maintains the attraction of interest and the highest musical quality.
The voices are wonderful, the leading voice of Paul McCartney and the beautiful and brilliant choirs.
As for the title and the lyrics ...
    It's not a fanny song
It is the year 1969, the last album they recorded before separating definitively.
His representative had died in 1967 and the four BEATLES did not agree on the appointment of a new manager, so Paul McCartney chose his father-in-law and the other three Alan Klein (manager of the Rolling Stones)
and I believe that because Paul McCartney's distrust of Alan Klein and the Beatles' mismanagement of finances, makes Paul express it this way in the first stanzas of the song
"You never give me your money" is a fantastic song and my favorite of the whole album "Abbey Road", the last recorded by The BEATLES, and the best album in the history of rock & pop, for the best and most influential and revolutionary group in the history of rock & pop
it would be wonderful if you stay on this album and take the last three songs, which are assembled in a 'medley':
    "Golden slumbers /
    / Carry that weight /
    / The end "
With these three songs in series Paul McCartney closes his concerts
(I had the great joy and excitement of seeing and hearing him two years ago on his last visit to my country Argentina)

Thank you for the reaction to another Beatles song! This is the first song in a long medley on side two of the Abbey Road album, the last studio LP they recorded. One day when you are feeling ambitious and have some time you may want to react to the entire medley which consists of You Never Give Me Your Money, Sun King, Mean Mister Mustard, Polythene Pam, She Came In Through The Bathroom Window, Golden Slumbers, Carry That Weight, and The End. In addition to that medley here are a few other songs for you to work your way through! For No One, From Me To You, Tell Me Why, Baby's In Black, Because, Blackbird, Mother Nature's Son and Being For The Benefit of Mr. Kite! Cheers, and keep up the great work on your channel!!!

OK. Here's the meaning of the song. The Beatles were having trouble getting to the money that they made. The managers would dole out just enough for them to live. They were complaining "You never give me your money", instead they got promises in writing ("funny paper"). For years I thought of this as a complicated relationship between a couple, where the woman is rich and the guy poor (broke, straight out of school, basically homeless and no career prospects). So, the Beatles were shy about giving the manager a number (of dollars). Then, suddenly, they (really) became rich, riding in limousines and whisking away on vacay!

    Fantastic song!
    a Masterpiece!
with a lot of changes in the rythm and melody
This is the best example of the versatility of Paul McCartney voice
    with great chorus too
it's in the "Abbey Road" album
    the best by The Best
it's in the finaly Beatles sessions (1969)
    the next year BEATLES split

Sometimes with The Beatles, its simply about enjoying the music and vocals they are laying down and not necessarily worrying about whether there is deep meaning (or in the case of some of their songs, any meaning!). The music, vocals, solos and transitions in this song were great imo. Fantastic song - one of many on the Abbey Road album.

This is great but is , in my opinion, better listened to in proper order as a part of the medley on, what was originally, side 2 of Abbey Road (when albums were on vinyl and had to be flipped over). On the CD, the medley consists of track 8 through track 17. It’s well worth a listen!

You have to listen to all of side two of Abby Road. The songs all blend onto each other.

This is part of a medly.... Not just about lyrics but musical themes. You Never Give Me your Money theme comes back later in the album.

To understand the lyrics, you need to know a bit about of the history of Beatles and the problems they had with management, etc....which could be a bit complicated. Otherwise just sit back and enjoy the music !! No need to overthink the song.

IMO This was aimed at Alan Klein who Paul rightly realised was ripping the Beatles off ! He caused them to split ! NOBODY ELSE ,,,,ALAN KLEIN !!!
