If there's ANY deck that hates Maxx "C", it's the deck that needs its hand ENTIRELY EMPTY to make its plays. Good on the TCG to fail to think ahead when coming up with a hard counter to Infernity they can't make good use of themselves.

Nah, he's powerful but too limiting. The fact he turns off all your other cards, weakens himself into attacking range, then wipes your own board. All on top of needing to be tribute summoned. He just doesn't have a place and I don't think will again.
@@JumbaJumby Just a clarification, not necessarily he needs to be tribute Summon. Like, if you use mausoleum of the emperor, he doesnt need a tribute. But in the rest, i agree with you, unfortunately Ladd is outdated

@@nigerianprinceajani If anything, its weakness to Maxx C was THE reason it was only tier 2 on its peak. And as a reminder, Infernity plays Vanity's emptiness so is not that different.

Maxx C is a fair and balanced card that totally doesn't win games on the spot and definitely promotes back and forth duels.

Man, LADD is a crazy card, i think he has the potential of being abused even in today's Yu-Gi-Oh, he just don't have a home right now

Maxx "C" was legal in 2014 (at 3). Infernity was built with that card in mind.
