Two Cardinal Chicks First Morning in the Nest [Cardinal Nest Day 2]

This is footage from these tiny Cardinal chicks first full day in the nest! Both hatched the previous day. They are both healthy and hungry for food from their parents. The mother broods the chicks for most of the day, she only leaves the nest a few times to get food for herself and the chicks. The father makes regular food deliveries to the nest. The parents are very careful while feeding the fragile chicks. These chicks spend most of the day sleeping under their mother. They are completely blind and only respond to the movement and sound of their parents!

These extremely gorgeous red cardinals feeding their babies! And believe it or not, they sing quite well, too! The male red cardinal is one of the most beautiful birds around .
