Nice videos. Had a call last night (10pm) from a referral. Heatcraft condensing unit and evaporator. Found same leaks as in your video. Pinholes in multiple locations. Model plate on condenser unreadable. Looked up compressor for refrigerant. R22. Mineral oil. Told the owners and they requested I add refrigerant to keep it running. They pretty much ran out screaming when I priced the R22 to them. I will be replacing the compressor and evaporator assembly tomorrow morning. R404 or 448. Cheers.
+1 on the Fenix brand of flashlights. They were the first I tried for a pro level LED light. I still use 5 of them on regular basis, taking much abuse. Thanks for the videos!
@@etherealrose2139 For my headlamps, I went with Nitecore. The HC50 and HC60. Use Panasonic 18650 Lithium rechargeable. Run about 6 hrs on the highest setting. Think I got about 4 or 5 of them in rotation!
That's like worry about what you look like before you go to the ER. The system was screwed. The customer dug a hole and now the system's not worth fixing. I'm not going to worry about a condenser in the middle of winter in the middle of the night. Otherwise if it was under better circumstances I would have washed it out like I normally do. Thanks for the feedback👍
Check around for some kitty litter buckets. Tidy Cat, for example, comes in 5 gallon square buckets, so you can fit things like the pump in better. the Target brand ones are 3 lb buckets, so they're shorter and more convenient. Even better? you can probably find people throwing the buckets away because the companies refuse to sell bags of litter to refill the buckets.
Everything was factory, I just bent the wand. I'm going to try to cut a 90 in to the end wand so it can be poisoned easier. Putting it in the part I bent doesn't work as well because it doesn't have a swivel nut.
That sucks when customers hold you back from doing the actual repair. Why do they bother calling if they don’t want it fixed??? When customers want prices, that gives me the go-ahead to leave….they have already decided its not an emergency and can wait.
how are you very good work this is very good Sarvesh pump I great work I like it service pump very good very good I am work the Dubai thank you for video I like it video
I just went back and looked at the video, what the hell are you talking about? I cleaned the coils and recharge the system, they have a system leak 🤦🏻🤔 are you even in the field?? What else do you want me to do?
@@HVACRSurvival gotcha I was thinking about getting this one but didn’t like how you had to plug it in until I seen your set up. I hate dragging a hose out to wash one condenser especially in the summer when you don’t have time to wash all of them.
I didn't know if I would like the plug-in power supply at first but really if you think about it, generally the batteries tend to go bad on something like this because you don't use it very often. This doesn't have proprietary battery's to wear out.
The transfer pump has more gallons per minute but it's not as controllable and I think that's why my seals are leaking now because the back pressure was to high. To me this is just more convenient and easier. Especially controllable so I don't make a mess inside a store.
I got it local at our Milwaukee dealer, they had it on sale. If you want to get it to Amazon you can use one of my links down in the description to support the channel, it doesn't cost you anything extra. Otherwise search online. It's great for charging batteries on phones computers, running small devices. Thanks for checking it out 👍

Glad I found this video. I was looking at that blaster and talked myself out of it. Now I will be paying one soon. Thank you.
It's awesome, it's definitely not gonna power wash your house but it's perfect for most smaller HVACR cleanings

Love that portable sprayer
Again, sorry for my grumpy previous comment. I’ve literally become quite obsessed with AC coil cleaning videos 🙃
HVAC Survival, please see apology ⬆️

Thanks Greg! You too!
Micro channels suck in my experience they always leak and plug, nice job by the way! Keep the content flowing!
Thanks Tom!
Saturdays are made for family and my own home repair lol
That coil is just going to keep on getting more small leaks on the u-bends. Good call on recommending for a new one at that point.
Thanks for checking it out!
Good job Rick.
Been on the fence with that ports blaster, think you just helped me pull the trigger with this one Rick. Great video as usual.

Dollar Tree has headlights for a buck, and provide a nice amount of light for a panel light. Batteries extra.🙄
To each there own, I'm just picky about reliability and seeing what I'm doing.
Been using Fenix for years for handheld torch.
Got some Chinese headlamp for hands free.

Ricky how you miss that there was no day light lol great work
Who needs daylight, 😆😉👍👍
Cool man
Good job!
Thanks for checking it out👍👍
I would never top off a charge without first cleaning that condenser!

Awesome video keep them coming.
Thank you!
If you like Fenix just wait til you discover Zebralight and their high CRI lights!!
My new right angle is just like the zebra, I checked them out, they look great to!

Hey Rick can you give links to the nozzles you are using on that porta blaster?

Thank you for the video . I like the little battery pack power station. I would like to know who made that . Great video.

🤷 Everyone talks about selling the house, 😂 pawn it off to someone else. 🤦🏻

How do you charge without cleaning the equipment? That will affect the readings 🤔
Were hourly, so you do a full service on the weekend when the customer doesn't want to be proactive and get the equipment serviced when recommended?
I just went back and looked at the video, what the hell are you talking about? I cleaned the coils and recharge the system, they have a system leak 🤦🏻🤔 are you even in the field?? What else do you want me to do?
What length plus 2 hoses do you like to use on your gauges?
I believe they are 60". I have a link in the tool section below in the comments. It has busy out what you see in my videos.
How long does you sprayer work on that battery setup. Meaning like have you tested how many coils you can clean on the charge
I would guess at least a hour or two possibly longer. I haven't ran it non stop until it kills the battery.

How’s the pressure on that compared to the m18 transfer pump?

Where'd you get that battery pack?
Look online. Probably HD.
