I love the fact that you're having deep conversations with people such those related to the meaning of life... Not just basic talking
It is a very beautiful thing to see the human family peacefully conversing with each other. I hope that Jack is not just stunting and showing off his Mandarin but is also sincerely helping people in China to practice their English speaking ability. It is ok if he isn't because just talking with people in their native language helps to increase affinity between people and countries and that increases understanding of others.
I'm not sure the compilation of video clips is too long or not but Jack made a good video. Thank you Jack!
What's up man, first time I've ever seen a British guy speaking Chinese. Awesome. I've seen like a billion Americans and Africans doing it, but never a British guy lol. Awesome stuff man, your level must be absolutely insanely good if you can talk about such deep stuff and have these kinds of philosophical conversations. Usually it's just like ordering food/simple phrases and stuff but you're on another level. Amazing 👍👍
I've lived in Argentina and in Russia for many years and I can also speak Spanish/Russian very well but I wouldn't be able to talk about such things so effortlessly and so fast like you. It always kinda takes me a second to try and correctly formulate the sentence I wanna say in my head first (especially considering Russian's difficult grammar and weird word order) and chinese is even harder, so that's just absolutely mental that you can do that, honestly

Hey Jack I know you already put a lot of time into these videos and I’m not sure how long it’ll take to do this, but if you put pinyin subtitles under the English in your videos I’m sure a lot of learners will find it super helpful and it might attract a new audience as well. Or maybe a patreon page with them. But as a caveat I’m just one person and could be selfishly commenting this haha but thanks for the videos, they’re a good watch
Hey really appreciate the support. Right now it would be a real extra layer of work to put the Pinyin so it's not something I had considered tbh. I'll have a little think on it and see how feasible it is though. Like you say maybe a Patreon model could work. I watch a TW drama called Light the Night. Netflix has a couple of TW dramas and it helps that they're like 8 episodes per season instead of 5 billion
