It is, the entire Island is that way. Very green, mountainous,we have rivers, waterfalls, just beautiful 😁👍🏾

@@thehungrymomOk.. So , having been away for so long how do you respectfully compare Saint Lucia ( ALL OF IT ) to the Gambia ?

@@antonyford6225 I so appreciate your question 😊. The answer though is not so simple, but I'll say in terms of infrastructure, amenities, health care, quality of life etc it's 100% better here in st.lucia. If I was Single without kids or responsibilities st.lucia would be where I'd return too, the cost of living is higher. In the Gambia we as the Diaspora moving there have a greater advantage because your dollar goes a long way, for the dollar you get a little over two Eastern Caribbean dollars because the EC is high compared to Dalasi. There's so much, it's a very interesting conversation so maybe I'll share that on here because so many love the Island and I'm sure are contemplating visiting.

@@antonyford6225 I'll say this as it should be said, I love love love St Lucia, it's home, it's Paradise and I wish it was our first choice to relocate too, my husband is Jamaican so he feels the same way about Jamaica and wishes he could go back there. So that's why I said if I was Single I'd move back here For us as a family Gambia is now our home, we see ourselves being able to live more comfortable there than our Islands, our peace is very important as it is for all of us leaving the West so Gambia is our choice and place to be for now. When my boys get older and are ready to go on their own then we may revisit our family plan. They've already mentioned wanting to return to Canada when they're older so who knows 😁👋🏾

@@thehungrymom Thanks for your answer. I can see that you could easily live and prosper in saint Lucia the beautiful land of your birth . I think that ( like yourself sister ) majority of diasporas feel a peculiar spiritual calling to Africa rather than the need to relocate simply or mostly because of exchange rate.
