The real twist isn't that the Phroggers are just kids in I See You, but the father character we were following the whole time was the person that caused the disappearances and the Phroggers are the heroes of the story

Best twist for me was "Don't Breathe," wherein it turns out that the blind home-owner is not just a very proactive home-defender, but is actually completely out of his damn mind. Great movie. As a blind person myself (yes, we can use the internet), I really enjoyed the film and it's depiction of a very capable and dangerous blind villain.

I saved you the pain of me asking so I looked it up on the internet. I'm assuming you're using a braille display to read and navigate your way through the web. I first saw this device in a movie (Sneakers 1992). Until you brought this up never thought to see if it existed or not. I could only imagine how wonderful it must be since it opens you up to a world you would be tormented to know about, but never be a part of.

Ghost stories is honestly one of the best twists I’ve ever seen in a film . You can rewatch the film again and again and find new hints and clues as to the truth of the situation . I went to see the stage show after watching the film and thought I’d ruined the twist , but the show still had amazing ways of messing with your head and the climax made me jump out of my seat . Honestly brilliant story telling and one of those pieces of media that clearly had so much effort put in to make sure that the answers were all there , but you would only see it after the truth was revealed

Cabin In The Woods was for a different kind of 'spiritual reason'. The whole purpose was needing a certain amount of sacrifices to keep a demon from being released and destroying the world. We only see the American side, but multiple countries run their own system for it.
TCM: NexGen would be closer compared to Martyrs (original) where the group's entire purpose is literally to torture victims (women) until they 'see God' so to speak.

I suspected the twist in "The Boy" as soon as the old man said, "Despite what it looks like on the outside, our son is still here with us." The implication is that, he's still here in spirit, and the doll should be treated as a real boy. But right away I thought, "What if he means that literally?"
