Indeed. What I don't get is...why the fuck did they wait till he just killed a man to turn on the lights and go "IT WAS A PRANK BRO!!!"? They're all literally standing there watching him do this and don't think, "Hey, maybe we should let him in on this because he's obviously about to kill this man?". It made NO sense.
Because his soon to be ex-girlfriend, and soon to be ex-best friends made the dumbass decision to never let Cole know that it was a prank until after he was caught on camera beating an innocent man to death via revenge-fueled psychotic rage. In this situation any good friend, and good girlfriend would've immediately rushed in there in stopped Cole from murdering this guy, let Cole know it was a prank, and apologize for putting him through all that mental, and psychological torture that made him snapped.
I'm pretty sure the guy would get away with any court, the situation is so absurd. He was made to believe that he was trapped and tortured and that his friends and girlfriend were dead. It would be a unique case I imagine but I think he would get away with therapy but no prison, unlike his friends who are responsible for this mess.
The way nobody stops Cole before he beats him to death was so frustrating. Not only did they put him through unspeakable trauma but they also allowed him to kill someone which would have been completely justified had everything been real. I was so angry after watching it
😀ikr? if everything looked real to him, then killing that guy was justified, because his perception of reality was fake. If they did a different prank like eating the furniture that was actually out of chocolate but not telling him and acting everything was fine, THAT would have been a lot better
I’ve never seen that movie but once Josh said “it was all a prank” I instantly knew I would’ve hated that movie. To be so invested into what was happening and the heartbreak of putting yourself in Cole’s shoes (I genuinely can’t help but imagine myself in character’s shoes in every movie I watch), only to discover that EVERYONE was in on the prank…no. I would’ve immediately turned off the tv and need to take a walk. I absolutely love twist endings *most of the time when it’s done right*, but to have one like that?…nah
@@jackwells8107 Cole will get involuntary manslaughter and get a year in jail and probation His friends will get an accessory to murder charge and if the man's family that he killed wanted they can sue for wrongful death Either way his friends will be going to jail for possible life
To be fair that was a freaking nasty prank to play on Cole. I think that people involved could have criminal charges held against them for making him think him and his friends were in genuine danger.
That don't forget everything was livestreamed to at least thousands of people Ain't no way those involved can dig up the grave they put themselves in if the movie explored the legal consequences for the group
It really is. I don't know how else he they could've expected him to react. Even f they revealed it was all a prank, that's still some serious psychological damage they're doing. They'd be lucky if all that had happened was that he cut ties with them. Instead, they're now responsible for the murder their friend committed in a blind, distraught rage.
The best part of this is knowing in most countries, Cole wouldn’t get punished for this. It was self defence in all ways that matter. 🤷♀️ If you believe your life is in danger, you are allowed to kill, basically everywhere. The point of the prank was to have him believe this. You know there’s at least one idiot willing to do this exact thing 😭😒 fortunately, not sure most of these influencers out there pranking, actually care enough about the people around them to be that bothered if this happened. 😂🙌🏻
Same and I feel similarly about of a lot of nature/survival horror. I think it's the constant struggle against your own physical surroundings that just makes me tense and exhausted by the end. But I think that's more of a comment on my personal stamina than the quality of movies in those genres.
The ending of tusk was just so much worse tho because while Wallace is in the zoo he sees his BEST FRIEND and his wife that have been having an affair come to visit him and feed him a fish, that was heartbreaking
Wait, wait, wait. So the people who pranked the dude in the first one just let him murder the guy before jumping in and saying it was a prank? What? Like, at any point they could've just been like, "DUDE WAIT! IT'S A PRANK!" but they waited until after he had killed the dude.
Yeah that was a dumbass call. Like someone commented if Cole's soon to ex-girlfriend, and soon to be ex-best friends wanted to scare him with a prank to celebrate Escape from Reality's 10th anniversary they could've just took him skydiving and tell him his parachute isn't working then reveal it is working, not mentally/psychologically torture him to the point where he beats an innocent man on the prank to death via revenge-fueled psychotic rage.

Megan is Missing is for sure the worst ending to a horror movie ever. The scariest part is there are people out there that have done these types of things to young girls.
I'm sure she did bro....I'm sure she didn't just sit there...but all the weight of the dirt and the lid being sealed aside from the fact that she probably used up most of the oxygen by the time she was put into the hole...there was maybe 15mins worth of oxygen in there...
The actors who played Josh and Amy had a really rough time playing a lot of the scenes, especially Josh. When they were told they have to do another take of a certain scene, he almost walked off the set.
You really aughtta budget in extra time for that. If I were a director and could go all "design written in his mind" like J. Michael Straziynsy or Peter Jackson-" *I'd shoot a no-budget comedy short concurrently.* And shoot the happy ending before or after the horrible evil no good abuse scene. Sadly, hollywood is run by pedophiles, so compassion isn't in the budget.
Bless his heart honestly. We all know that the actresses who played Amy and Megan probably went through a lot but i don’t think anyone considers how Josh’ actor must’ve felt playing such a dark character.
It’s always weird to me when certain actors get cast for movies because they get the script before they even shoot so it’s not like they’re unaware of what’s going to happen and have the option to back out if they want
i would have noped out (whoever played josh). that is too much to ask. and fuck this director for putting you and the girl through this. want snuff film? go to the dark web like a normal degenerate piece of whatever.
Oh god I can’t ever watch “Megan is Missing” again. The movie sucked but the ending was so horrific and depressing especially since it’s realistic (and loosely based on a real story).

@@WizeGuyz2023 You're not wrong there. True. It's like those "pranks gone wrong" where someone like, jumps out of a trash can and the person the prank is being pulled on just decks them in the face but to the extreme.
It’s like Bill Murray’s death in zombieland. Basically he tries to scare Columbus and Little Rock by pretending to be a zombie. Usually this wouldn’t be a problem but in a world overrun by zombies obviously it’s a bad idea. Long story short he’s shot by Columbus and dies
funny thing is Cole's friends would be charged with murder, not him. Alexi's death occurred during the commission of felonies by the rest of the crew. For Cole his actions where either self defense, temporary insanity, and/or at the very least, extenuating circumstances.

Unfortunately Meghan is Missing is so poorly written other than the finale that its very difficult to watch through not due to horror but awkward teen dialogue
the ending is even bad and just awful to watch. They threw in an unnecessary rape scene that went on way to long, and the final digging scene went on way too long that it lost all of its meaning and became a chore. They could have cut most of that content, cut the digging scene in half and it would have been much better
@@WizeGuyz2023 Yeah, no part of that ending needed to be what it was. It ended up feeling disjointed between a spit on your grave ending and a cringey poorly written start
I agree with everything you said PLUS I also hated all of the hype the film got. Whenever a director, writer, producer or whoever makes a HUGE deal about warning people how scary it is. Telling everyone that this movie isn't for everyone because a lot of people probably won't be able to handle it. When I hear all of that and everyone freaking out talking about how they can't wait to see it so that they can brag about how they made it through the whole movie, I automatically assume it's going to be a crap film. The Blair Witch is the only movie I can think of off the top of my head that used that style of marketing that was actually a really good film.
No Escape/Follow Me is literally so fucked up as a whole. like theres stupid youtube pranks and then theres pretending to be tortured and killed just to prank your boyfriend. im pretty sure if that happened irl, the death of the guy would be ruled self defense and at least the main guy would be able to go free nd his friends/everyone who set it up would be charged. poor Cole tho, he may be an asshole but thats just cruel
Both the body in the barrel and the still of Megan's head held ajar by the brace were images that stayed with me for months after I watched Megan is Missing.
Buried's end was… brutal… But then, the movie perfectly captured the zeitgeist, with everyone more concerned about saving their fannies than trying to save him…
I'm extremely disappointed they didn't mention the part where they tell him they wouldn't be paying out life insurance to his family. That was the truest darkest piece of capitalism gone mad I've ever seen.
@@RicPendragon That's exactly the part I was thinking of. That's what I meant about the zeitgeist, it's no longer "we are going to save you", it's "we don't give a flying f*ck as long as our asses are covered." Everybody has an inbuilt fear of being buried alive, the knowledge that you are guaranteed to be shuffling off this mortal coil and there's not a damn thing you can do to change that outcome is what makes it such a visceral terror when watching it happen to another human, even when we know it's a film. It is on the same level as drowning for me, being under water and knowing that in a short time you won't be able to hold your breath any longer and that water will rush into your lungs and deaths cold embrace will soon follow.
@@ethanv7330 definitely, but at least with drowning you know it's going to be over quicker, the slow death with the only thing to think about being buried alive must be unbearable.
No way is drowning worse. It’s over very quickly and, people that have been rescued from drowning have stated that it was peaceful after the initial panic. Compare that to being stuck in the dark, in a tiny box underneath the ground, for days. Just waiting to die. Being buried alive, ike the girl in Megan is Missing would be especially brutal. Cramped in a barrel with the rotting corpse of your best friend. I can’t even imagine.
'No escape' was called 'follow me' when released in Australia and had very little advertising done for its release. I went and saw it because I wanted to see a movie after being in lockdown for so long and there was nothing else on. I was pleasantly surprised by the feature.
its also called follow me in europe. But yeah its not a bad movie. Predicteable? yes. But prediteable is not always bad. The ending could have been done different but as a whole it was a nice watch.
The sheer glee on Asami's face in Audition as she cuts of his foot is one of the most terrifying things I've ever seen. I have a pretty hardened disposition when it comes to horror movies, but that one stuck with me.
Basically loved all of them! Bad endings are my favourite. Loved The Descent too. The Vanishing is a story we read in school when I was young, called 'Het Gouden Ei' and it paved the way for my love for horror. I was so fascinated with it.
Idea for the next in this series: Horror movie endings that, while disturbing, are also satisfying. My example: Salvage (06). Claire is gonna die. Over and over. And she doesn't know why. Later it's discovered that Claire, who has been sleuthing for an answer to her dilemma, finds out that Claire is actually dead and she is actually the man who killed Claire, forced to relive versions of his final victim's death. Yep, you guessed it. The killer has to relive Claire's final hours on repeat like a spooky and foreboding Happy Death Day.
Not exactly too messed up, but the ending of "The Invasion of The Body Snatchers" gave me the chills. The whole movie we were hoping that the two main characters would escape the Pod people. But when we see that the supposed main character is acting unresponsive, we know something is definitely off. And then, that scream. Good Lord, that scream; it haunts me 'till this day. We know exactly what will happen after It alerts the other Pods about the only human left. The world was completely dominated by Them, it's Their planet now. A dull, lifeless planet, that had all it's original inhabitants murdered by the Things that are now roaming it.
That guy thought his friends were tortured to death in front of him. Even if he hadn't killed that guy, he would have been severely traumatised anyway.
Megan is Missing caught me off guard big time going from a campy found footage flick to depicting child rape and live burial. I had to clap for how out of pocket it was.
Megan is Missing first two acts are nearly unbearable and well, I guess one can say the same for the third act. Lol. But I found the ending truly horrifying and well worth watching the film in its entirety. I have not, past or since, seen a horror movie that filled me with such dread.
Okay i thought it was just me but i’ve never dreaded watching any movie nearly as much as Megan is Missing. I went into the movie knowing exactly what to expect, when to expect it, and knowing the ending and it still traumatized me for weeks. Amy’s helpless pleas at the end and the way she just gives up and loses all of the fight she had in her during the assault is heartbreaking and unnecessary.
The mist plot twist is insane. I wanted to cry in frustration imagine losing everyone you loved just to be saved by who you thought was gonna kill you…
No one stopping Cole at the end of the movie despite being feet away is the stupidest shit I've seen. That movie shouldn't be on here and shouldn't be talked about positively
But can u imagine what kind of psycho DOES NOT fear being buried alive 😳😬 Altho that would b a GREAT plot twist, the person ENJOYS being buried alive so much that they've done it enough times that they have a ball & know a "trick" to surviving or they piss off person who buried them w their could careless attitude & comments that they dug them up to just kill the "victim"
In my opinion Buried was sure underrated.... I just happen to watch it randomly on TH-cam and my god I was so impressed by it..... Phenomenal what was achieved in that movie with one actor and a horrific circumstance
So I literally just got done watching Megan is missing. It's very messed up but I think the thing that got me the most was the fact that he took her video camera recorded everything he did to her and then dumped it in a public trash can knowing that they would find it (probably when she was already dead.) Her poor parents.....
The Vanishing’s remake was abysmal, but Breakdown (1997) covered similar territory and was excellent, with a stellar cast - JT Walsh in particular. Well worth a look
Tried watching Breakdown on Hulu and got bored quickly. I'm sure it gets better, but I guess I'm not as interested in it as I thought. It leaves in less than 2 weeks at the end of the month.
The Dark and The Wicked is a very underrated movie that not a lot of people have seen and should. It's not perfect, I feel like there are some plot holes, but the atmosphere is kept so tense and dark that it's worth the watch.
I completely agree! It’s one of my “writing movies” that I put on while I work because the tone, setting, and storyline are perfect for getting my brain in a spooky mood. I especially love the scene where the little girl turns out to be a demon. The brothers dead family fakeout is great too. So, so underrated.
Usually if I watch a horror movie and something will give me a good scare, I’ll be fine after a few deep breaths. The ending of Megan is Missing scared me to fucking hell. I remember I stayed up late to watch it and I said to my parents “I’m just gonna finish the movie then I’ll go to sleep.” Cause I had school the next day. I did not sleep that night and it stayed with me for days. I couldn’t even close my eyes cause the ending of that movie scarred me.
Haunting of Julia aired several times on a brand new cable channel back in the '80s, independent local channel. Watched it. Remember that ending. Strange movie. I didn't know anything about building suspense or anything like that. Saw George C. Scott's The Changeling around there then as well. That was how Haunting of Julia clearly wanted to be, but didn't make it.
Ju on should be on here. Dying is one thing but dying by a curse and being turned into something dark and forever trapped and never finding peace is terrifying.

In a similar vein to "No Escape", there's "Fear Inc.", in which a horror movie fanatic hires a company similar to "The Game" (with the main character even calling out the comparison) to brutalize him and his friends.
I personally think the movie "Untraceable" had a pretty messed up ending just because of one small detail: the live chat happening after the female cop protagonist managed to escape the killer's trap and kill the killer. There were people commenting about how cool the sequence was and even one person asking where they can download the footage. I love horror as much as the next person, but in the context of that movie, that was live footage. Granted, the fact that people were tuning in to watch these live feeds knowing that someone might die is messed up as well, but to see at the end that nothing had changed with the people viewing the live footage, I basically just reacted with "WTF?!". The movie was still enjoyable though.
I've seen a number of these. Pretty good, twisted flicks. But really wanted to THANK YOU! for reminding me of both "The Dark and the Wicked" and "Megan is Missing." Somehow, these I have kept missing these. Really want to see both. Thanks again! :)
Damnit!!! That first movie!! I didn't even though it existed but I have had that idea for ages, where the twist is that everyone who was killed was in on the prank, but then the final guy actually kills the "Killer" before it's all revealed to be a prank!!

I would like to watch it again one day but for now I'm not brave enough.
The 'Tusk' idea was partly from a podcast, but it came from a personal advert placed in a newspaper in Brighton, England (hence the character's surname being Brighton), where someone asked for a roommate to move in and dress as a walrus due to a bizarre backstory. The person who wrote the advert had a history of writing prank advertisements for the local Brighton newspaper, including one that, if I recall correctly, talked about a wormhole somewhere in the city.
The crazy thing about Megan is missing is why this girl would choose to not have anyone accompany her or not notify anyone once she gets close to finding Amy
I’m pretty sure the final act of Audition didn’t happen though. We see the main character wake up in bed and when he decides to go back to sleep we see the rest of the movie, implying it was just a dream
No Escape kinda reminds me of the Two Sentence Horror Story episode about the beauty vlogger who had someone break into her house while she was live, but it ended up being a trap for the intruder. That whole series has messed up endings for each episode

I'm claustrophobic, fuck those movies and fuck this list X_X
I'm pretty sure the guy would get away with any court, the situation is so absurd. He was made to believe that he was trapped and tortured and that his friends and girlfriend were dead. It would be a unique case I imagine but I think he would get away with therapy but no prison, unlike his friends who are responsible for this mess.
@@godotlettice2938 No, he'd be found guilty of murder, regardless of the situation.
@@celebjorn3837 no he wouldnt.
I'm pretty sure it would have been self-defense on his part, because he BELIEVED his life was in imminent danger; but who knows the laws in Russia?
I’ve never seen that movie but once Josh said “it was all a prank” I instantly knew I would’ve hated that movie. To be so invested into what was happening and the heartbreak of putting yourself in Cole’s shoes (I genuinely can’t help but imagine myself in character’s shoes in every movie I watch), only to discover that EVERYONE was in on the prank…no. I would’ve immediately turned off the tv and need to take a walk. I absolutely love twist endings *most of the time when it’s done right*, but to have one like that?…nah
@@jackwells8107 Cole will get involuntary manslaughter and get a year in jail and probation
His friends will get an accessory to murder charge and if the man's family that he killed wanted they can sue for wrongful death
Either way his friends will be going to jail for possible life
To be fair that was a freaking nasty prank to play on Cole. I think that people involved could have criminal charges held against them for making him think him and his friends were in genuine danger.
That don't forget everything was livestreamed to at least thousands of people
Ain't no way those involved can dig up the grave they put themselves in if the movie explored the legal consequences for the group
Even in real life some pranks go too far
Similar plot to that Michael Douglas movie called The Game
“Buried alive” is the trope I can do without.
As a phobia type or you just don't like it?
Indeed, but movie was fantastic. The rug pull at the end was brutal.
Same and I feel similarly about of a lot of nature/survival horror. I think it's the constant struggle against your own physical surroundings that just makes me tense and exhausted by the end. But I think that's more of a comment on my personal stamina than the quality of movies in those genres.
And that's why I want to be cremated.
Claustrophobia..being buried alive..one of my greatest fears. I'll take a pass on this one.
The ending of tusk was just so much worse tho because while Wallace is in the zoo he sees his BEST FRIEND and his wife that have been having an affair come to visit him and feed him a fish, that was heartbreaking
Indeed. It was horrible. Tried to forget it many times
Well, to cut the affair some slack, Wallace frequently cheated on his girlfriend. Of course, his ultimate fate is too harsh of a punishment,
Wait, wait, wait.
It was dark and flashing lights in that room they didn't know he was doing it.

@@chupaxf yeah is based on the case of Ashley pond and Miranda Gaddis
The actors who played Josh and Amy had a really rough time playing a lot of the scenes, especially Josh. When they were told they have to do another take of a certain scene, he almost walked off the set.

And shoot the happy ending before or after the horrible evil no good abuse scene.
Sadly, hollywood is run by pedophiles, so compassion isn't in the budget.
Bless his heart honestly. We all know that the actresses who played Amy and Megan probably went through a lot but i don’t think anyone considers how Josh’ actor must’ve felt playing such a dark character.
honestly iv never understood the obsession some film makers have with showing such acts ,its not hard to allude to it so we know what happened

In cole’s defense he did it out of revenge for a shit ton of what he thought was murder. His friends made him go insane, and what friends would make their friend think they got brutally murdered????
The ending implies that Cole's soon to be ex-girlfriend, and soon to be ex-best friends assumed that Cole wasn't going to snap and kill the innocent guy in on the prank via revenge-fueled psychotic rage they assumed that once the prank was revealed Cole would be upset, but forgive and laugh with them over an "awesome" prank, they had pulled off not snap and kill the innocent guy in on the joke.
@@derrickhaggard honestly the friends deserved to be killed ngl
A Serbian Films ending left me a little stunned. Hit List had a intriguing ending and Eden Lakes ending renewed distaste for humans.
'Megan is Missing' sure seems like a remake of 'The Vanishing' with the serial numbers filed off, given the endings.
No Escape's (2020) ending had me in absolute shock. It is just crazy.
If that had u in shock u gotta be new to horror
In a similar vein to "No Escape", there's "Fear Inc.", in which a horror movie fanatic hires a company similar to "The Game" (with the main character even calling out the comparison) to brutalize him and his friends.
“Fear inc’s” ending stuck with me for days after watching it. I kind of expected it but it still shocked me a bit.
I had never heard of No Escape. It looks good. Thanks WhatCulture!
It was an OK movie. The acting sometimes is a bit wooden but all in all decent.
Cole would never be convicted for murdering that guy though since he thought everything was real
I agree. Any reasonable person in his position would believe they were fighting for their life.
In the US, sure, but this takes place in Russia. You'd have to look at the laws there to say for sure.
Could his 'friends' be convicted of anything?
The ending of "A Boy and His Dog" (1975) is seriously sick.
I love how they say "spoilers ahead, see description for more info".....aaaand there isn't any information regarding which movies they're spoiling
Damnit!!! That first movie!! I didn't even though it existed but I have had that idea for ages, where the twist is that everyone who was killed was in on the prank, but then the final guy actually kills the "Killer" before it's all revealed to be a prank!!
Tusk was so brutal, the guy turned hyrbrid walrus begging for death only to be put into a zoo…..like how can you think your friend/bf cant really remember their relationship but still yeah “he always thought itd be fun to live as an animal…..” and than walk away and maybe visit in his bdays🤦♂️
Buried was the first movie I saw where all
Hope was lost. Still haven’t seen it since but I remember it so well
Martyrs definitely belongs on this list.
So does Inside and Irreversible
I have watched every and any disturbing and spooky movie you can think of but to this day Meghan is Missing is one that always rubbed me the wrong way and I still sometimes have sleepless nights over thinking about it and how the documentary style makes it seem real ... I would like to watch it again one day but for now I'm not brave enough.
Eden's lake ending made me punch the screen of my computer and scream out loud
I can't believe "The Mist" hasn't made this or the previous list!
To be fair it's on half of their other horror movie, or twist ending.
The list is called "10 MORE movies.."
The Mist is on a previous list called "8 movies.."
Audition, crazy woman, crazy movie and it was all just a dream just like American Psycho was one big daydream.
218: Seeing the demise of your BFF is shocking but being forced in there will make you scream in panic
Megan is missing is the only ending that ever really pissed me off 😂😂
You're not the only one.
"Seriously messed up endings," wonder if Audition is in here.... Haha! It was!
"Speak no evil" should be on this list for sure
I’m surprised none of the final destination movies are in this list or the first one
The Dark and the Wicked is a very good, slightly slower burn, of a film that manages to hit all the right scare notes at all the right times
I’m still scarred from Megan is missing
The crazy thing about Megan is missing is why this girl would choose to not have anyone accompany her or not notify anyone once she gets close to finding Amy
This messed up endings has got nothing compare to Parasite movie the last minutes of the movie is really mess up..
10:50 I’ve seen parasite and no way is it worse than this
I've not seen No One Lives with Luke Evans in any if these lists. That movie was amazing and definitely fit in many of these lists!
Complicit, not compliant. Also, "mee-ee-kay", not "mike". Also, Megan only has one corpse, not plural corpses.
One of my favorite recent films with a seriously messed up ending is “Censor”
11/10 would recommend.
We also can not forget about sleep away camp!
I’m pretty sure the final act of Audition didn’t happen though. We see the main character wake up in bed and when he decides to go back to sleep we see the rest of the movie, implying it was just a dream
I remember that. Suggesting it was a dream, or even vision of what will happen if he does not escape her.
No Escape kinda reminds me of the Two Sentence Horror Story episode about the beauty vlogger who had someone break into her house while she was live, but it ended up being a trap for the intruder. That whole series has messed up endings for each episode
Name & where did you put it
Yeah No Escape was basically it was all just a prank bro.
See no i find that very messed up because he reallt thoughts the man killed his gf and friend you dont do that to a person you never know how they might react
@@ItzMayaswrld okay but at the end of the day it was a prank that went terribly wrong.
@@grapeshot A seriously fucked up prank then
@@rainingwings449 It was a F-d up prank that got fatally out of hand.
Like the main protagonist he becomes a murderous anti-villain at the end because he thought a dangerous Russian Crime Lord had held him hostage and forced him to watch his girlfriend, and best friends die in various torture-room situations he had no idea that it was prank, to him it was all real and that his only course of action was to take revenge on the "villain" who forced him to watch his girlfriend, and best friends die in various horrific ways he didn't learn that it was prank to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his TH-cam show until he already committed his revenge-fueled murder, but by then it was already to late as he was filmed murdering a innocent civilian in on the joke.
Someone should do this to the Paul brothers!
Buried still hits me deep. I haven’t been able to watch it again.
The Mist would have been a good addition, dude killed everyone (including his son) just for the mist to lift. And it begs the question, if he listened earlier and sacrificed his son, would the mist have lifted earlier?
That was in part 1
I think mirrors is underrated, plus that bathroom scene always gets me.
The ending to the mist should have been nr 1 kills his child and everyone else to save him from the monsters only to discover moments later that it was tanks and flamethrowers they were hearing. Also the army came from behind him so he was constantly moving away from safety. And if they had gone with the motherfigure at the beginning they would also have been saved. It is an ending with gut blow after gut blow.
he put that one in part 1
I thought "Buried" was absolutely chilling, and Ryan Reynolds carried the whole movie brilliantly, like Tom Hanks did in "Cast Away."
Threads is the horror of all messed up endings
What's Threads like?
@@abrimfulofasha basically it ask the question what would happen if a nuke was dropped over Brittan or France one of them but the thing is the nuke happens mid movie it’s not the end you can see everyone dying and it’s a lot of torturing and bad stuff I do not recommend if you have a weak stomach or for the faint at heart
@@rometime9791 cheers dude. Im good mate, I have sat through A Serbian Film and the August Underground trilogy so I'm sure I can hack this. Thanks for letting me know about it.
@@abrimfulofasha Yeah well I just wanted to let you know what you were dealing with
I’ve promised myself that I will never watch Threads. I’ve always been intrigued by it but I’m not prepared to put myself through it 😂
Megan is Missing definitely tops most if not all of these lists. Just fucked up stuff to make a move out of. Knowing that seriously fucked up people like that exist (like that other movie where the father keeps his daughter in the basement for years and years) is what haunts me the most. The trope of "buried alive" btw is just a no for me for movies now. You can do all the messed up gore you want but that kind of "despair" is the really gut wrenching stuff.
If a movie has a soul destroying ending don't for the love of God do a remake with a happy ending!!!
