Paul Chouinard I thought about that. But I still want to see what Delta, Jean and Annie are up to. I believe Delta lives some country life now. It’s funny that Dixie, Delta and Jean were all married to some of the male cast members of the show.

The show will die slowly (even if the network tries to rework it). It's become a preachy offensive show with subtle racism (subtle racism is still racism). Add to that, Jake McDorman is the new "Ted McGinley" of series Albatrosses and you end up with a show that isn't just an embarrassment, it's a sloooow torturous embarrassment for the network.

The moment, you make it an anti-trump/anti-republican show and have Hillary Clinton as your first guess on the first episode, you eliminate half of the country from watching your show from the very beginning. It's not a smart move (Michael Moore needs to take a lesson as well with his new movie bombing at the box office as well). The ratings came in and it completely reflects that. The ratings were terrible and it will not last past a season.
