When you're in the places where the total eclipse happens it literally goes from daytime to nighttime in a matter of minutes and then nighttime to daytime in a matter of minutes. All in the middle of the afternoon. If you aren't some what moved by that, play how small we all are in the grand scheme of things you're dead inside. Sure we can see the Sun and the Moon out in the sky at the same time sometimes, but to be able to see it pass in front of each other to the point that it turns our daytime into night time? I mean, come on.

I think Gayle needs to see at least the full amount of totality of a solar eclipse before she can worry about not having any sort of emotional experience.
I have a good fortune to be in the path of totality for the eclipse. It was awesome! Partial eclipses are interesting, but not at all the same as the total eclipse.
