Thanks for the video, atleast confirming some of my thoughts, half questioned my 146 turbo freeride purchase as i missed out on a 154 N/A by 24 hours and jumped on the 146. Thought about in the future having a 154 skid on hand for the thick of winter. Will be wild under a 137 tunnel forsure lol
You bet! Yeah I’ll be just running it as a pure 146 for now and keep on the hunt for some rails and a track! Honestly I think the sled is gunna be wild in either form!
Did the same thing, I don’t like the 36 front though!!! It really feels like a trail sled really needs a 34 front.. not easy to get on its side and hold a line.
I don't see why people wouldn't just get a 154 Expert, and buy some upgraded shocks? It seems like less work, but then you don't get that Freeride paint color.
Unfortunately yes! Keep in mind that’s also in CAD. Yeah it’s actually crazy how much it’s went up! I remember in 2019 or 2020 buying the top of the line sled for 18k and now add on another 10k. I’m really surprised that the sledding scene hasn’t really started to take a step back yet
By that I mean normal trail sleds. Folks are restoring ZRs and Indy’s and JagZs around here because nobody makes sleds like those anymore and the price of new stuff is scary.
Best production sled ever made 🤘
Now that’s a hot take
had us in the first half not gonna lie
Herters RULES !

Totally agree bought the same sled for all the same reasons hope to see you around in revy bud
Nice! What did you throw under it for a track?!
@@ThrottleNectar haven’t put a different one under it yet want to ride it first to see how fun it is lol
@@ChaseMassonoh it’s fun !
Been out twice on my 46… they are sweeet!
Yup they are wild! Part of me won’t be to sad if I can’t find a 154 track for it this winter lol!
Trackspeed is everything, 95% of the people don't need a 155" today
Yeah I lean more towards most of us don’t need a turbo, 95 percent of people, myself included, can’t out ride an N/A 850

Sweet! And I haven’t rode a G5 with the 34” front end, as I only had my Polaris last year. Are you throwing a 34 front end on yours?!
i've got the 34: zbroz a-arms on my freeride but need snow to try it out.
The punks classing best wheelies👌😂😂😂🥱
Wheeeeelies
if you want a sled with good suspension buy a the lynx shreeder.😉 but the skidoo freeride has always had way better suspension then all other brands
Yes they got some pretty unique stuff that’s for sure !

If your not worried about changing tracks and just want a 154 for a 154 definitely an option!
What size bar riser do you have?
3” riser with 1” rise bar
New sleds are between $25 and $30K now? The last sled I bought new was a 1996 Yamaha vmax 600. Back then it cost around $5k

It has. It’s all mountain sleds now. The stuff they sold up to about 2011 for the eastern states market is pretty much gone.

It’s shaped like Jabber Jaws head
dude try that thing and think about destroying all that fun afterward
Haha oh I have! And it’ll stay 146 for awhile, but wouldn’t say no to a super short tunnel 154!
Mountain sledding is a rich man’s sport. Super fun, though.
Haha I hear you there!
