Wonderful video not enough likes !! You are appreciated .. most of this had sound foreign before I saw your video . Now I am more aware and educated about my body as a young black woman .
Hi Dr. Sylvia, I'm the one who asked about this question on your live video. Thank you for explaining the reason why this happens! My doctor did not explain this to me.I am 59, overweight, I'm going through perimenopause, and my mom had stage 3 A cervical cancer. She was diagnosed in August of 2021 and passed away 4 months later in December. I had 3 children, and I ended up with degenerative disc disease and back problems, so that was where half of my added weight came from, and the other half was from being prescribed Gabapentin for Fibromayalgia.
Hi Terry, thanks so much for reaching out and thanks again for your question. I realised I’ve not discussed it at length on the channel and decided to do a more detailed video. I’m sorry to hear about your mum. I think taking steps to learn widely is the best way to minimise any health risks, so I’m glad the video’s been a bit helpful. Thanks again for leaving a comment, it means so much. Please do share the video with anyone who might find it useful and let me know if you’d like any more conditions explained. Wishing you better health 😊
I had fibroid surgery early this year but my period is still very heavy so I did transviginal ultrasound and they saw that my endometrium is thickened so I will be going for hysteroscopy endometrium biopsy later this month, may the lord help me I’m so exhausted.
I'm really sorry to hear that you're going through such a tough time. It sounds exhausting, but I hope the upcoming biopsy brings you some answers and relief. Wishing you the best
Thank you so much for this video. I have been on HRT patches and Utrogestan for 2yrs, 4wks of bleeding in September this year with groin pain on right side, after no period for 2mnths. Had an ultrasound but inconclusive of ovaries, fibroids are shrinking but womb lining has thickened. I have been advised to stop HRT for a month to see if bleeding stops. I am 52 this month. I have previously had Pulmonary embolism and am on Rivaroxaban for life. I am a bit down about this all. Could the groin pain be connected? I read that HRT can cause joint pain.
Hi @suejaneuk1681. Thank you for sharing your experience-going through all this must be overwhelming, especially with ongoing symptoms and your history of PE. It’s understandable to feel a bit down with so many changes happening at once. Groin pain can sometimes be associated with hormonal changes or pelvic health, but there are many potential causes, and your healthcare provider can best help pinpoint whether it’s related to the HRT, joint issues, or something else. It sounds like your team is approaching things cautiously by pausing HRT, and hopefully, that helps clarify the source of bleeding. HRT may sometimes contribute to joint pain in some people, although it’s not universal. If you find that pausing HRT improves the pain, that might offer some insight. Please stay in close contact with your healthcare team during this time and remember to reach out if you’re feeling overwhelmed-sending you the best wishes!
Hyperplasia can sometimes affect fertility depending on its type and severity, but whether you can conceive naturally or need assistance like IVF depends on several factors, including your overall health and how your womb, ovaries and tubes are working. It’s best to work closely with a fertility specialist who can evaluate your specific situation and guide you through your options. Wishing you the best on your journey!

Hi mam, my mom's biopsy report shows impression of simple endometrial hyperplasia.
Does this need hysterectomy surgery to be cured perfectly ??
