I put 3/8” rebar in the ground and then get a long galvanized piece of 1/2 “ conduit that slips over the top. You can get really long pieces and cut them to the length you want. I use this also to frame my trellises for beans and other stuff. I strap a piece of concrete wire mesh to a conduit frame. Bomber and reusable and easy to disassemble when not in use.
Thanks for the laugh man. I forgot how much you don't like tomatoes for someone who grows them so well. I need to get out and prune my cherry tomato plant that came up after last year's plant. It's the only vegetable that seems to do ok in the more shaded area i have set up here, although I am thinking about trying carrots next year.
Glad you enjoyed it Jeremy. Yeah you should totally try growing carrots. Actually tonight I’m gonna go out and yank out some squash vines that are not producing for me and in their place I’m going to plant carrots beets parsnips and other root vegetables. Hoping I can get some good stuff going in that bed since the squash had a bad attitude. LOL good luck with the garden man. Stay in touch
The person running the camera did an amazing job 😏
Great information. I’m in Albuquerque. How often do you water your tomato plants? Thanks.
I water daily. My soil drains well so they don't get too soggy. Seems to work for me.
What type of pipe do you use for your trellis posts?
