No, they just need to know they are not a protagonist, or the center of the Universe. Teach them humility, and everything else sorts itself out. They are in fact doing the opposite in schools, trying to make students feel like they matter. They don't. Their deeds matter, but nobody truly matters more than they actually matter. I'm a true crime junkie and I know this is old but this is one of the worst interrogations I've seen. The detectives suck! Their acting as if the sister is a suspect. She's young and just imagine what she seen and the shock she probably felt. They need a lesson on how to conduct an interview with someone like this.
I'll save everyone the time and summarize: he came in the house, he went out of the house, he came back in the house, he went out of the house...he took off his shoes, left with no shoes, put on his shoes, left with shoes on, ran over here and ran over there, ran this way and ran that way... This was the most boring interview ever, a 4 year old could have done a better job shoplifting a toy from Walmart and lying about it than what this guy did of killing someone.

Younger people do not know how to deal with real life feelings and situations anymore. They need to teach “ Mindfulness “ in school these days.
