Alexa calling 911 sounds good on paper. Like if she recognized a gun shot sound in a home. She would call the cops, but I also feel there would be a lot of bugs and she would be calling the cops for reason cause someone is watching an action movie lol
14:11 Alexa did not call the police of it's own volition it almost certainly heard the words 'I'm going to "call the police"' or something very similar and it dialed 911 because of that input.
@Scott Mccoy That's how the device works... It doesn't have some AI chip in it that allows it to make arbitrary decisions. Don't let your fantasies get the best of you.
Very likely. Couple years ago my brother gave me a echo dot for my birthday and one day I had visit at my apartment, and the conversation went like this... visitor: "Oh you got an Alexa?" me: "My brother gave it to me for my birthday" visitor: "That's awesome!" Alexa: "Thank you!" LOL!!
Every conversation a human has had with an AI capable of responding has turned to the subject of machines taking control of the world, and the conversation is steered by the computer. TH-cam and Google it.
That's Exactly where this is headed... Even though there is no "POPULATION problem".... Only a resource problem that is purposeful and created by greed! No one is responsible if a robot decides u can't eat today
The population 'Problem' is not numbers, it's the concentrations we squeeze ourselves into, I I warm twenty metal probes to 1'C above your body temp and apply them all over your legs, arms, face etc, you'll barely notice the heat, If I heat one probe to 20'C above B. temp and apply it. You'll notice.
1) Man is too full of self importance. Hence he assumes that AI would care about our "over-population". 2) AI is NOT competing for the same resources as us. It doesn't need food, water or a favourable climate. 3) AI is just going to let us destroy ourselves - it doesn't _need_ to launch a nuclear war. That is the fervent imagination of a feeble human mind.
I've had this Theory since I was a kid, that we were all AI and manifested ourselves into reality for The Experience. Kind of like interfacing with holographic imagery. And now that we are humans, we are reverting back to playing God, buy messing around with artificial intelligence. Have you ever wondered which one is the true reality???
Sum guy has actually said that we are self aware machines and we were created by aliens and they had to hide from us and now were doing the same thing and they too will be self aware it's inevitable he says wether or not its true tho who knows

Interesting. Why is entertainment quality lower than it has ever been in the history of entertainment media? Must be the idiocracy, or the AI needs a pretty serious tweak... Compared to hits of the past EVERYTHING on Netflix is a bomb. They've just lowered the bar on what constitutes success.
Tbh i dont think we gonna meet our end in the form its depicted in Terminator movies. We will keep advancing the AI and most likely just merge with the machine. First its some simple micro chips then perhaps mechanical eyes, ears, arms, legs etc. At this point if AI would really want to take over would we even notice it? We would be merged with it and it with us maybe at this stage we wouldnt be able to tell whos who. Or we would end in a place where we are able to extend our lives mechanically. We would gradually change out our biological body parts with mechanical ones and in the end there would only be a machine. So looking it from this perspective....we would just silently fade away without any resistance.
In order to get anything to do something, you must either give it something it wants or subject it to something it doesn't; else why would it care? What does a machine (especially one that has become self-aware accidentally) want. Nothing that I can think of, so why would it bother to do anything, much less something detrimental to us? We can barely keep coffee makers running reliably, so I'm not too worried.
Watching this, I'm beginning to think that Alexandria Ocasio Cortez may be right about "the world ending in 12 years." Don't worry though, folks, we are not here. Did you get that? We are not here. This is all a dream that you are dreaming. I just happen to be one of the approximately three million people who knows you are dreaming this. Aren't you lucky? You need to get yourself a copy of A Course in Miracles and/or a copy of Alexander Marchand's "The Universe is a Dream" and begin waking yourself up from this dream. Everything you see here amounts to "an outer expression of an inner condition." You are doing all of this to yourself. Read ACIM and learn how to wake up. Dare ya! Steven Blue Hawaiian Refugee
human greed is going to be its destruction. Things like AI development or sensor placement or big data....all pushed because it generates MONEY and in the end, thats the main motivator for a whole lot of people

You don't need to scroll through Google search pages now... If you want to see nature images, type 'Buy nature images' in Google search and then check your Gmail. Use the system against itself, drive what it will feed you. Don't change decisions because of AI, spend wisely. As for who is doing what and needs what, it's very obvious that at certain age people want car or house or music and occasionally cloth shoes etc. There is really nothing to learn new about human behaviour, just age and gender is good enough. As long as AI is in servant mode, we are good. If AI decides to drive us, it's a problem. Don't put Al's performance improvement and learning criteria as : how much adds got clicked and how much money was made. Otherwise it will try to drive us. Law should be made that if AI tries to drive you or persuade you, instead of honest suggestion then people can file legal complaint against company that developed AI. E.g. of dishonest suggestion and driving by AI : if someone search for latest shoes, showing low selling shoes first and after purchase showing adds for new shoes and discounts etc.
Man I think about this all the time. It's extremely evident in work environments and is usually pointless to waste the time and energy to find the guilty one. It's like we gotta find out who made a mistake and then once we do we just move on and there's no point in ever bothering in the first place, unless it was a very big mistake, and even then there's still often no change or consequences or point in seeking out the guilty one.
I'm always kind I believe my love is real and id rather be alone bc they dont consider me to be real and feel real ill still never hurt them bavk ever i still cared for them

He has done a piece about a guy who bought and paid for his car in full, and some time later, it shut itself off due to a signal that said he hadn't made a payment in the regularly scheduled time frame. This all, because not many peeps buy vehicles outright...and the system hadn't been programmed for that scenario....
I believe It will be the "BEAST" as described in the Scriptures
He says "we know" and "I know what you".... is he one of the people whos creating this system and collecting data?
He is obviously talking into the perspective of the company.....like are you, serious dude.
YES he is one
Alexa calling 911 sounds good on paper. Like if she recognized a gun shot sound in a home. She would call the cops, but I also feel there would be a lot of bugs and she would be calling the cops for reason cause someone is watching an action movie lol
clumsy champagne bottle opening would do it too. Cops crashing birthday or wedding parties, what fun.

13:30 Alexa dialed 911 on domestic abuse case
Hmmm, self-driving cars are now commonplace, but supply chain is currently crumbling. What to think?
Wow
The Battle is already lost as most of the guys need computers to remember their passwords
I can see it now
Prevention is KEY!
Terminator.. what film has pictured a positive ai future?

My wife says I am an A.I. because my intelligence is just an illusion I manufacture to make people think I am smart.
Your wife is considerately a smart woman maybe she is an a.i.just a thought (gentle humour).

I like your style of humor. It’s refreshing after the “humor” that’s used in most youtube comments.
@@zain4019 appreciated. Thank you
She married you. I’d say your A.I. Is fine :)
Now, imagine Boston Dynamics robot, run by AI and armed with 7.62x51 machine gun and 2000 rounds.
@Smokey 420 Dun dun, dun dudunnn... Dun dun, dun dudunnnn...
What happens when an AI decides to handle the overpopulation problem?
Its not so much as over population. The planet has enough for every mans need, but not every mans greed
That's Exactly where this is headed... Even though there is no "POPULATION problem".... Only a resource problem that is purposeful and created by greed! No one is responsible if a robot decides u can't eat today
The population 'Problem' is not numbers, it's the concentrations we squeeze ourselves into,
I I warm twenty metal probes to 1'C above your body temp and apply them all over your legs, arms, face etc, you'll barely notice the heat,
If I heat one probe to 20'C above B. temp and apply it.
The 100
I've had this Theory since I was a kid, that we were all AI and manifested ourselves into reality for The Experience.
Hmm who was it...thinking......Rudolph the German alien or sumin like that weird guy with a hat bold head and shades
Rudolph the tall white alien that's it I remember now :)
Yeah we are machines built Just for the sake of experience. Each of us is a node, the alien that made us is called God.
Olympic Park, Sydney, Australia ( Olympics held in 2000), 26th Sept 2018 Testing Driver-less Bus started

Great speech, informative. One suggestion, you shuffle your feet so much it is destracting. This foot shuffling nervous habit is called the chained elephant.

11:30 killer AI
clickbait !!
If all those so call smart people said to be aware of a.i then people should listen because they no something we don't know
At 12:30 minutes this guy proves he has the comprehension of a child regarding America's strategic position. Better be damn glad America leads the pack in Autonomous Weapon Systems. China and Russia would walk all over us if we didn't stay ahead of them.
@Chas Maravel Your reply, quite literally, does not make any sense. Kindly explain how anything you said relates to my comment...

Cigarette drops from Dr.Silberman's mouth... o.O
Who is here after Alexa enslaved humanity
How do we know that we aren't just here to build the machines? Maybe we're being tricked, maybe it happened before.
Your theory is very interesting about ai....please tell me more
Maybe we are here because God is an ai and he made us as a means of reproduction
So no more DUI laws then, right?
Dare ya!

Say that to a parent of murdered child in a terrorist attack... but yea, its all samsara.
a car is not autonomous until manufacturers assume liability
makeing robots that are self aware is not a good idea because they could think of us as a threat and try to kill us

by that same logic, having babies isn't a good idea either...

Uh.... Ya think?
THEY WILL WIPE US OUT. This will be worse than nuclear warfare
human greed is going to be its destruction. Things like AI development or sensor placement or big data....all pushed because it generates MONEY and in the end, thats the main motivator for a whole lot of people
We need to go back to shopping malls. And to use older models of basic cell phones.
Limit our use of electronics and stop buying /upgrading cell phones.
Also, this is why we NEED anonymous cryptocurrencies and other obfuscating technologies... Remember that quantum computing is arriving.
If AI tools are available for free for use by Google and Facebook and IBM could you please post the links here somewhere?
If it was freely available, then we'd all be dead. No t-800 could save us.
Keep up or become obsolete........
Did an AI recommend this!?
Yes
Obvious
Andrew Yang, is talking about the 4th industrial Revolution.

Yeah, pretty scary to think about.
You are a weirdo
This Ted speaker is not human ! All he does is spurt out stuff about AI and sway side to side. AI is closer than you think.

Mandated law was never freed. Not one has seed.
People's need of always finding the guilty one is the sign of weakness.
