I usually trick my brain by saying "this not a hard topic, it's just time consuming. I just need some time to learn this and lucky me, I have a lot of those"

This! Sometimes it's hard to think this way though, school can be fast paced and since you're learning many topics at the same time it can get a bit overwhelming. You don't get to enjoy the process, it's just 'oh fuck oh fuck so many deadlines I gotta do this and that'
Self learning is super fun though as you can go at your own pace. You learn better too (:

I look around me and see the people that are doing what ever i want to learn. Then I say to myself, are those people smarter then you? The answer is always no.

I liked your take on how to approach learning. Also, I related to the part about overcoming the fear of the unknown by just doing it. I can't remember where I read it, but the act of thinking about doing something you want to do satisfies a part of our brains that increases how difficult it is to actually start doing it. I look forward to your next banger of a video

That's a valuable lesson for anyone interested getting into tech seriously. Most of the time the wheel is reinvented in tech with slight changes and improvements and anyone implements that new too for building the wheel. I think we never gonna run out of learning.

Large personal learning projects are always challenging. It can be discouraging to think about ALL of the little things you still have to do to get to some decent state. I often tell myself it's okay to take breaks while I reinvigorate the big picture and how awesome it will be if I ever do get far enough.

I always like to compare motivation/learning with machine learning lol. In ML algorithms like Positive Reinforcement Learning are found in Cognitive Psychology. I found it best to do what you say with "Just do it" (which for me comes from confidence of learning many things I thought I never could learn before) along with increments of me rewarding myself for short term goals to maintain long term motivation and success. Love the content keep it up :)

Your video structure, points and editing is really good, love how you cut out pauses to increase retention like how you cut to random scenes, such as when you threw your phone, the perfect amount of times. The music a general style of the presentation also helps a lot. If I had one critique though its probably that the camera focus is a bit iffy, while I don't know that much about cameras but I can suggest trying to manually set the focus if you can and tinkering with that so you are in focus most of the video as opposed to just out of focus the entire time.
Really good work on the whole, make sure to keep it up. No wonder you're exploding so soon after starting your channel, its apparent you care about what you are doing to put so much effort into editing videos. It seems your hard work has payed off and earned the algorithm's favour.
Best of luck in your future endeavors, TH-cam related or otherwise.
    - An eager fan

wire those Neurons was really interesting, it got me thinking on back when i was teen in Norway and i struggled to do a Ollie on skate board, and over time i got it working and with more time it was getting natural like walking hehe, so its true about neurons but its easy to forget its like that with other skills too, similar with game development, i still struggle with coding but i read code much better, while 3D in 3dsmax is natural for me XD :D Great video :)
and yes emotion and goal is important too, also input from progression,
eks: you can study a recipe of cakes al day but you progress more if you read or follow recipe and then try to mix the ingredients then bake it then east it, then repeat(al the while the goal is to make a specific cake) you have the Goal, trying progression also smell and taste input, like skating you get hurt alot but some times you get it more and more its like doing Manual you can really get hurt but over time you get doing manual for longer and longer distance,
with programming (specific for me doing game making i can see my code make something alive and that gives more motivation), and yes 1 step at a time eks 2h a day every day mon-Friday satureday and sunday 100& free time, for me i often do work for 1-3h spread true out the day then some day s 100% no working other days i might do some more easy working like drawing, etc instead of 3D/texturing/coding. but yes keep phone silent :D

Also, the thing you said about emotions being a factor in creating and maintaining a good memory, I thought about it too months back and I was very surprised to it in Dr. Joe Dispenza's work "Breaking the Habit of being yourself".
P.S. He also says 'neurons that fire together, wire together' bunch of times there
btw this was a good video, pretty straightfoward but solid content that everyone needs to be reminded of

The truth is the framework of learning is different from person to person. I believe how to discover it is entirely based on you. The biggest thing you can do for yourself is get started and look at it as a day by day routine till you are a year in and see how far you have come. Everything else happens by itself

Hey, I want to learn to fly too, at some point. It's just that as a broke college student, I feel your pain about the price. Renting an aircraft and instructor for 40+ hours is expensive, who knew? What I _can_ recommend is going to EAA AirVenture, which is coming up in about a month. If you go, bring earplugs. The military jets are loud AF.
