When they built the Melbourne Hairpin the first person to crash on it was Richard Aldous on a YPVS 350 and he very nearly brought me down with him. They had cars and bikes at the same meeting, testing the track extension for the following GP.
Brilliant. I find myself coasting to old hairpin and coppice and I can never seem to get the bloody Melbourne loop right. Definitely taking those 3 pointers to work on that in a couple weeks when I’m back there. I’m going to call it the Melbourne day.

03:42 that's my bike! Thanks for the guide Bruce! 👍🏻
Going on monday cant wait I dont think the weather is going to be good but it will be a learning curve for sure.
That was brilliant. Great pointers. Never ridden Donington but will definitely look at a track day there soon.
Short and sweet. All made sense too. Thank you 😊
Cheers Bruce, some good pointers there fella 👍🏻✊🏼🏴
Very useful guide thanks. Love Donington but think the Melbourne Loop / Goddard's corners hamper the flow of an otherwise excellent track

Thanks for that as I'm there 28th June. Will come in handy 👍🏼
Nice one I have a trackday booked there in a few weeks, but will on something a lot slower.
Love these, great series
Thanks, can't wait to come one day and ride it.
Nice this will be handy if i will ever get here!
How did you manage to do a track day with a lap timer (as they are forbidden at Donington) ?
Easy my favourite track on Ride 5.
if i live in england i will die (fucking weather................................................) like)
