Combined it with a cosy, casual and simple week at home in London cooking a shepherd's pie (with a Lee Kum Kee soy sauce twist), supermarket haul and going to a new dim sum Chinese restaurant in Greenwich! INGREDIENTS FOR SHEPHERD'S PIE WITH SOY SAUCE:
(4 single servings - generous portions tho lol)
Oil
Salt
Black pepper
1 x Onion
2 tsp Minced Garlic
2 x Carrots
2 x Celery stalks
1/2 cup of Frozen peas
4 x Medium sized potatoes
Milk
Butter
1 x Pack of 400g mince meat (lamb/beef/plant-based)
1 x Beef/lamb/vegetable stock cube
1.5 tbsp Lee Kum Kee Light Soy Sauce
1.5 tbsp Lee Kum Kee Dark Soy Sauce
2.5 tbsp Tomato paste (personal preference/chopped tomatoes)
Grated parmesan
Rosemary
Thyme
Dried bay leaves
