I had this huge crush on Troy when I first watched Community and I always expected to find someone as adorable as him, which I thought was impossible since Troy's basically a puppy and few people have that kind of pure heart nowadays. I'm glad my bf is just as sweet, I got really lucky.
He was captured by pirates. If you watch season 5, episode 6 (the one after Troy left), at the end of the episode, Professor Hickey is at his house watching TV. If you pause it, you'll see a lower third crawl on his TV that reads, *"LaVar Burton and non-celebrity friend were captured by pirates."* I'd seen that episode at least 10 times and never noticed it until I had to pause to go do something else. When I came back, that's when I saw it and cracked up.
