I saw Jelly Roll's speech referenced in this interview. I then heard the song NEED A FAVOR . It touched me in an unexpected way. Yesterday i purchased Broken Ballard and a second Jelly Roll album. Right now the name escapes me. I didnt find one song i didnt like. I was afraid to buy a ticket to his concert because i dont look like the demographic of those that would attend a country music concert let a Jelly Roll concert. But i did because of lovethis man's story, his humility and his music. My fear of being a standout is outweighed by knowing im going to enjoy the man and his music.

Thank you for sharing your inspiring story. My wife and I met in rehab. We stayed clean until we were hit head on in 2019. After that our sobriety was hit and miss. Recently lost my wife to a heroin overdose. Recently started my sobriety over and hit 6 months clean. Thanks for inspiration. Keep fighting

❤ December 1st I had 2 years sober. I got my coin today. I used to work in a Residential Treatment Facility for juveniles for 5 years and it was truly a passion! The hour drive to and from, the disrespect from staff members, the abuse especially sexually. I loved my kids (mainly boys) and sometimes I was a trigger which broke my heart. The facility is no longer there or I maybe I’d still be there

Here is a sad, but true… I lost my only son three years ago. He was an amazing young man at 18 years old. The love of my life and so fun to be around! Well don’t feel like a lost cause with no direction anymore… I raised him on my own. What are you when you’re no longer a mother? I heard that song and it kind of snapped me out of it. So for that Jelly Roll, I thank you!

I’m 63 and love Jelly Roll. I’m a quilter and Jelly Rolls are 2.5” pieces of fabric I use to make quilts. Lol just another fun fact why his name is so great. lol. I think people of all ages can identify with him because of what they are going thru. Love the song about I’m not ok but it’s all gonna be alright. Keep making music Jelly Roll you are awesome. Thank you for sharing your inspiring story. My wife and I met in rehab. We stayed clean until we were hit head on in 2019. After that our sobriety was hit and miss. Recently lost my wife to a heroin overdose. Recently started my sobriety over and hit 6 months clean. Thanks for inspiration. Keep fighting

❤ December 1st I had 2 years sober. I got my coin today. I used to work in a Residential Treatment Facility for juveniles for 5 years and it was truly a passion! The hour drive to and from, the disrespect from staff members, the abuse especially sexually. I loved my kids (mainly boys) and sometimes I was a trigger which broke my heart. The facility is no longer there or I maybe I’d still be there
