How to make a Minecraft creepy pasta/ mystery: 1. Play on an old version of Minecraft 2. Record on low quality and at 5 fps 3. Set your render distance really low 4. Add random creepy noises

This arg is the only good one with an administrative space, because it was not high tech but more of worlds of diff versions (gateways to the versions) being connected to the administrative space in which anyone could come in your world, it would be creepy if some random person would be on your world, not like mark101 which was ruined due to the high tech factor, but it would be better to not call it administrative space, just give it no name, like seeing those versions of diff worlds in AS was pretty creepy ngl.

Hi RGN! Just wanted to tell that whenever I see a new thumbnail from you popping at my subscription session a nice feeling runs down through my brain. Its been tough times, but watching you has made me feel much better these days. Ty
When I hear “administrative space” I think of the other Minecraft ARG with the moon and the devs, a lot of ARGs happen to have some weird “admin” or “developer” thing in them
this requires actual thought from RGN, not like telling a story that already exists. all we can do is give feedback on these videos, and go rewatch the deep dives. He will see a spike in the deep dive videos and want to make another, just for his viewers. if you really want one, make 10,000 bots to go rewatch the deep dives.
Hi. I tried to reply to this, but I think TH-cam deleted my comment. So if both show up, then I'll just delete this one. So, I'm pretty sure Retro has explained the deep dives situation a while ago in his discord server. I will try to recall it, but it may not be accurate, so you are always free to join his server and ask him yourself. If I remember, there were two reasons why he has been slowing down with the deep dive content: 1) He has realized that he can't really make infinite deep dives on Minecraft, and I think he realized that this point is near as he feels like he's running out of source material. He said he may make one after every Minecraft update, but we shall see. 2) Opposed to what @totalsoupsloud has said, no, the recent deep dive videos have been performing way below standards. On March 3rd, he explained that out of his 10 most popular videos, not a single one is a deep dive anymore. Either his audience of this channel is changing and/or the algorithm is pushing viewers towards the MC ARG content and away from his Deep Dive videos. It becomes a choice to either put a lot of effort into a deep dive video and expect little benefit or put relatively less effort (some of these other videos may actually take MORE effort) to get a lot more benefit. The return on investment for his Deep Dive series has been declining unfortunately. In regard to this video, he stated that he has been simultaneously working on another project that will take maybe a month or 2 before release. I do not know the exact details, but I'll just say you should stay tuned. This video came out relatively quick because of how non convoluted JohnGameLover as a series is. Just note that he's been recovering from an illness, so expect things to be delayed. I do agree with your sentiment, while his analysis on these MC Webseries/ARG channels are top notch, even better than his youtuber peers by a long shot, I don't want him to become the "MC ARG guy". I do like his other content, like deep dives, icebergs, and his real-life mysteries videos, but the algorithm keeps pushing to these ARG videos. However he is experimenting, so I guess we shall wait to what he will decide. Stay tuned.

Feels weird to watch a video about an ARG that not only is still in progress but that I've also stumbled onto by accident when I first found out about it
While i know its not related to this video, i watched almost all your videos and found myself questioning what is a creeper, then during one of your videos i passed a comment that made an interesting suggestion. It was your disk video and the comment suggested that the creepers are actually spy tools created by rival ancient builder factions to spy on each other hence why they blow up, are camo colored, and spawn at night despite not burning in the day and why they are so sneaky. On the point of disks maybe the origin of the music disks was actually transcribed codes for the different factions and they had some technology that translated the song into the various things they observed. If we think of the skeleton as an ancient builder then maybe thats why only they know how to get the disks out of them. Theres still a bit of wiggle room to this theory and i again apologize for not bringing this up in a theory video comment section but those videos are several years old and i figured it would be easier to get the word out through the most recent video
I appreciate the props you put on this story. I get the feeling most people would rather mock it. Good stuff - when or if it finishes I hope you cover the full AndrewGaming67 saga. It’s a great story at least so far in my opinion.
@@ProGremlinPlayer A world that actively tries to make the player stop playing. It's a seed that is shared between a few characters, and which retains memory between different instances of it. The world itself is against the players, and can change how the game itself works. So it could do anything from being in a different version than the instance of minecraft, causing a certain type of block to have gravity to destroy a player's house, or even something like causing mobs to instead spawn in light. The idea is derived from the spookiest parts of minecraft horror, where something as small as a redstone torch without an origin becomes a reminder of something unknown out there. Small stuff that later turns into larger stuff.
i think that the people who were not around in the early early minecraft days don't realize how genuinely scary it could be. there was something about the quality of the textures, and the lighting, that was incredibly unsettling deep underground and in the dark of night. Minecraft has come a long way in it's efforts to beautify but the very first versions of the game (think x's adventures in minecraft for instance) were some of the spookiest times in minecraft history. even now they are attempting to recapture that feeling with things like the deep dark, and end cities. but the reality is, it's polish and sheen make the whole experience more cartoonish and less...creepypasta territory. it's crazy that these to eras are the same game and thats to say nothing of the time inbetween like the herobrine creepypasta. ok soap box going away now lol.
i think i found out something, this is a friends teleporter but when he tried it, he showed what his friend experienced, but once he mentioned the "dark experiences" by his "friend", i think he was the reason his friend hated him, for trying something that HE made, tried and hid it from his friend for a whole, maybe he also wanted him NOT to record it to hide it from everyone about what his friend experienced... i feel like his friend is mad about him...

wow! this is mind blowing stuff! and the hotbar changes clearly arnt a sign of the person editing the video and recording different times, but instead proof! what a wild situation
The thing I hate about these "Scary Minecraft Rabbitholes" is that, Ive been around minecraft and the videos since the game was still in alpha. I can tell when things are recorded more recently on better hardware. If you go back to old videos, they are all terrible. Even the best ones dont have smooth frame rates. But most of these spend all the effort to lower their settings to make it look as old as possible, and then record the video at 240 fps or something. It just completely takes me out of it. The first videos showing the telepoter were mostly fine, but Im at the August 14 and 15th videos "diamonds" and "cool world gen" and it is so obscenely obvious that the footage isnt old. I like to suspend my disbelief for these videos, since they are interesting and fun, but when the "old" video is running minecraft at a higher frame rate than consoles can achieve, it just breaks down
I Miss The Times when you used to make theories on the actual game using clues like natural spawned structures. In the game and the what developers say about the game.
minecraft arg: Step 1: Go back and play a alpha or any old version of minecraft Step 2: play the game normally and record footage Step 3: Edit in sounds to pretend theres something with you Step 4: stop recording, build a structure, record and say it was a structure you didnt build
Exactly lol, I think these videos are just minecraft horror stories that aren't true but still entertaining I'd love if there was something in own minecraft worlds but it was rare for it to have an interaction but unfortunately all of these "Mystery's" are just fake
*sigh* More low effort ARGs..... Protip: If you're recording your PC's screen and it blue-screens, the recording would not capture it as that screen would mean ALL programs have frozen; INCLUDING whatever software is being used to capture the screen. Either that video file would be lost, unable to be uploaded or at the very best, the video recording would just end at the crash. The only explination is IF they were recording, and playing in, a virtual machine, which; given the story up till now, would make NO sense.
I love your videos about investigating Minecraft ARGs! Keep up the AMAZING WORK! Looking forward to more videos like these, and of course: I hope you enjoy making these videos as much as we enjoy watching them!

This video flew by, I was surprised when it ended. I was so absorbed in the story that I lost track of time. I love your way of telling these stories and your editing makes it more immersive. I can't wait for the next update! Have a wonderful day RGN.

thanks for the heart attack at 17:27. genuinely thought my computer had crashed.
When I hear “administrative space” I think of the other Minecraft ARG with the moon and the devs, a lot of ARGs happen to have some weird “admin” or “developer” thing in them
I love these types of ARG video essay type videos, and this channel does them almost perfectly

When are we getting deep dives again? 😭 I miss those so much
this requires actual thought from RGN, not like telling a story that already exists. all we can do is give feedback on these videos, and go rewatch the deep dives.
Stay tuned.
Theres only so much information yk. He should seriously dig into other games too
this shit isn't effortless 😭 @@totalsoupsloud even if the content is mostly left to the viewer to interpret the editing is still superb

wow that intro was extremely well made its really nice to see your channel grow in quality and subscribers
Notice how a lot of these ARGs happen only in early versions of Minecraft and not the latest. Gives it an analog horror vibe

Imagine if the main character of these ARG's just stopped playing. =)
I was waiting for you to do one on this guy, i discovered him back in March and couldn't figure out anything but it's cool to see you do a video on him.

Making a spooky arg myself sounds like it'd be really fun; I love these things.
Got any ideas?
@@soulglitcher Could be a cool mod tbh
@@OkamiAmaterasu. Thanks!
i think that the people who were not around in the early early minecraft days don't realize how genuinely scary it could be. there was something about the quality of the textures, and the lighting, that was incredibly unsettling deep underground and in the dark of night.
Was only a matter of time before RGN covered this…

Couldn't be more creepy than the world merge glitch
It's rly obviously. There's BLACK MAGIC going on!
minecraft arg:
Step 1: Go back and play a alpha or any old version of minecraft
Step 2: play the game normally and record footage
Step 3: Edit in sounds to pretend theres something with you
Step 4: stop recording, build a structure, record and say it was a structure you didnt build
Exactly lol, I think these videos are just minecraft horror stories that aren't true but still entertaining
I'd love if there was something in own minecraft worlds but it was rare for it to have an interaction but unfortunately all of these "Mystery's" are just fake

This channel needs more recognition ❤
Awesome audio (at 17:20 or so) for someone who is scared of fast repeating noises
19:50 is similar to “I am between Administration Space and ---“
*sigh* More low effort ARGs.....
