This is the best Whitestone Dome installation video I've found so far, and when I reviewed the product on Amazon I specifically mentioned that anybody buying this product should look for your video and watch it a few times first. I hope it gets you a few more subs. :) On another note, I'm on the 3rd Whitestone protector now after dropping my phone twice in the past 3 weeks. The installation definitely gets easier the more times you do it. Wish I didn't have to find that out the hard way. Finally, shame on Whitestone for not including a 2nd protector in the package and charging almost as much ($40) for a replacement screen protector.

Its definitely worth it. Not only does it fit perfectly. In does not level finger prints at all. Its verry nice. If you do get a few air bubbles when installing. Take you're finger nail or credit card and put as little pressure on the bubble as possible and guide it off the side the screen. I did this because my glue did not stay even my phone was not balanced. So it caused a few bubbles. But I got them off and it turned out perfect.

Hi Das Piper. It sounds like you're living the life: free time + lots of new tech toys! The tricky part of this installation is pulling the installation pin at the critical moment so that adhesive liquid is evenly wicked between the screen protector and glass. Good luck!

This is THE Screen Protector I'll be installing on my new iPhone X. I'll have no other. My only concern is how easy will it be to find a case that is compatible. Oh well, I'll deal with that problem later.

I just had my first look on the iPhone 10 yesterday, the size of the phone is really compact. With both front and back glass design definitely need screen protector for the iPhone 10. Especially when you spend that much on that phone, gotta protect it nicely! Great job on the installation looks kinda pain in the butt for me 😂
Thanks Jacky! It's funny, because when the "Plus size" phones came out, everyone jumped ship and the trend for big phone started. People forgot how nice it is to have a compact phone that fits nicely in the pocket. I do like the compact size of the iPhone X. Your second point is very valid too, for the price that Apple charges for screen repairs right now, it makes more sense to have a screen protector. I never use screen protectors, but I actually tried this one and I can recommend it to all of you. The best out there..well it's pretty hefty priced, but sure worth it if you want to keep your phone safe and top notch ;)

LOL. AGREED! My old iPhone didn't have a screen protector, and I scratched up the screen pretty good (thanks to my keys, sigh). I've had the iPhone X for 3 weeks now, let me know if you have any questions about it. I like it a lot, but day-to-day functionality hasn't improved by much, the novelty does wear off pretty quickly :/

I agree, I'm getting a lot of dust at the borders too. It is curved, but VERY VERY slightly. If it was truly curved, then it would be too thin and could cut you.
Great video thanks for sharing. Very tempted with this protector. Is this compatible with Apple leather case? Surprised this comes with alchol wipes as Apple doesnt receoment using them on their devices.

In regards to your questions: I'm not sure if it's compatible with the Apple Leather case, when I get a chance to go to the Apple store, I can test fit my phone and let you know. I have a cheap iPhone X case (Trianium Clarium) and it fits with room to spare. However, I can see that an incompatible case could lift the screen protector during installation, which would be terrible. Also: the alcohol wipe didn't hurt my phone at all, the stainless steel finish on my iPhone X is still perfect. Let me know if you have any more questions, I'll try my best to answer them. The Apple Silicone Case sorta work with the Whitestone Dome Glass screen Protector, but it's a very close fit, I would NOT recommend it since if you push on the silicone it will flex and give a little which may lift the screen protector over time. The Apple Leather Case works much better, there is a good amount of space around the screen protector, and the case does not flex. So far the two cases that I recommend to use with the Whitestone Dome Glass screen protector are the Trianium Clarium case (amzn.to/2jJdmjX) and the Apple Leather Case (amzn.to/2B2pt6n). Let me know if you have any other questions.

Is the Otterbox Symmetry case compatible with this screen protector? Also, I'm not doubting that this screen protector is good or not, but why does it have bad reviews on Amazon?

I'm not sure if it's compatible with the Otterbox Symmetry; you can see the specs of the screen protector on my website and try to contact Otterbox see if they can give you a response. Look at the last photo here ( utechpia.com/whitestone-dome-glass-iphone-x-install-review-unboxing/ ). The reviews are terrible on Amazon, the reason is because it it NOT easy to install, and a lot of people mess up. And if you mess up, it's hard to fix it, so you end up wasting your money. Hi Abir, yeah, I was afraid of that too! The top speaker and microphones are protected by the sticker they included with the package. But the bottom speaker, you just have to be careful, and make sure you wipe away the adhesive if it gets on the bottom speaker, I didn't have any problems with this. The bottom speakers and microphones have large holes so they are fairly easy to remove the glue. Good luck! Right on Iton. I'm not a huge fan of screen protectors, typically, but this one is pretty unique and I do like mine! But keeping it real, It is kinda expensive, and if you need that video light (YN-216: amzn.to/2A7dIIZ )... I think the Video Light is a higher priority. Just my opinion. I bought the Whitestons Dome glass protector twice and every time the glue moves towards the side of my phone and I end up wasting the adhesive. Keep in mind I am placing my phone on a flat surface and I've used 2 types of levels to make sure my surface is flat. But every time, the glue moves once I finish pouring it onto the screen (before I place the protector on it). So when I do try to control it and tilt it, the glue never touches the protector like it should because the adhesive is so spread out and sometimes runs off the phone. Any tips on preventing it from moving? I don't understand how it happens.
Your phone is soo cool ! One time I spent 45 on a glass screen protector for my 7plus (current phone) and i dropped it later that night face down annnnd it broke, my phone was perfect but the screen was dead. So it did exactly as it said it would I was just bummed Because I had to get a new screen protector FYI I use tech21 cases/screen protectors

I don't think that price point is worth it. I got a glass screen protector for my iPhone SE for $2 at Five Below! Also came on flawlessly! I would have never even known it was there if I had not put it on myself. No air bubbles what so ever. Only problem was that it only came with one protector. Either way, I ended up doing it right on my first try.
Would've been awesome if you fitted the bridge on the trey without looking, just like you put the top of the trey on top of the bottom part. JK, great videos! :)

That’s a VERY good question. It removes super easy! All you do is lift it with a fingernail, slowly and carefully. When it comes off, all the adhesive will be on the screen protector and your phone will contain absolutely no adhesive. It is almost like magic, not a single trace of adhesive will be left on the phone. :)

Hi Dat Boi, Great question! I use 3D touch often, mainly with iMessage, and haven't noticed any difference. I used the phone without the screen protector for 2 weeks and for about 1.5 week with the screen protector. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

Hamaza Vids, this is a VERY good question. When you take off the protector, ALL the adhesive stays on the screen protector and the phone screen is 100% clean, not a single bit of adhesive will stick to the screen. It's like magic! They really *did* think of everything, LOL, that's why this screen protector costs so much.

No and just take an alcohol wipe and wipe it down after removing it in case there is any residual. The loca is a oil substrate, so when you install, you need to leave it alone overnight, some oil will seep out the edges and just wipe it with a lint free cloth in the morning.
Yep, you're correct, it's not very case friendly. However, there are some cases that do fit the phones with the Domeglass Screen Protector, even for the s8+ and the iPhone X. (for the iPhone X, the Apple Silicon case fits, I did a review on that).

Wow that is one lengthy process lol, but looks worth it. I have a similar screen protector, but it like came in the little tray and was only a few steps. Not sure the name tho since they did it for me at the verizon store hah.
Hah my bad, not THAT similar. Just a glass protector with a tray to avoid alignment issues. I think it was a solid heat activated adhesive. I def like it, but I didn't put it on lol. Every time I've tried to put on screen protectors I hate them, but the people at the store did a good job.
Ah... That makes sense. Thanks for the clarification. Honestly, I'm not a screen protector fan because all the ones I've tried before didn't feel or look as good as the native phone screen. This is the first and only screen protector that performs and looks just like the native screen.... But it *is* dang expensive. It's a premium for sure.... But given that Apple is quoting $500+ for a phone screen replacement on the iPhone X right now, I think I'll play it safe w/ this screen protector. =)

I just had my first look on the iPhone 10 yesterday, the size of the phone is really compact. With both front and back glass design definitely need screen protector for the iPhone 10. Especially when you spend that much on that phone, gotta protect it nicely! Great job on the installation looks kinda pain in the butt for me 😂
Thanks Jacky! It's funny, because when the "Plus size" phones came out, everyone jumped ship and the trend for big phone started. People forgot how nice it is to have a compact phone that fits nicely in the pocket. I do like the compact size of the iPhone X. Your second point is very valid too, for the price that Apple charges for screen repairs right now, it makes more sense to have a screen protector. LOL. AGREED! My old iPhone didn't have a screen protector, and I scratched up the screen pretty good (thanks to my keys, sigh). I've had the iPhone X for 3 weeks now, let me know if you have any questions about it. I like it a lot, but day-to-day functionality hasn't improved by much, the novelty does wear off pretty quickly :/

I’m using it. Bt the problem is , it start to accumulate dust at borders as the borders are not curved as advertised.
I agree, I'm getting a lot of dust at the borders too. It is curved, but VERY VERY slightly. If it was truly curved, then it would be too thin and could cut you.

In regards to your questions: I'm not sure if it's compatible with the Apple Leather case, when I get a chance to go to the Apple store, I can test fit my phone and let you know. I have a cheap iPhone X case (Trianium Clarium) and it fits with room to spare. However, I can see that an incompatible case could lift the screen protector during installation, which would be terrible. Also: the alcohol wipe didn't hurt my phone at all, the stainless steel finish on my iPhone X is still perfect. Let me know if you have any more questions, I'll try my best to answer them. The Apple Silicone Case sorta work with the Whitestone Dome Glass screen Protector, but it's a very close fit, I would NOT recommend it since if you push on the silicone it will flex and give a little which may lift the screen protector over time. The Apple Leather Case works much better, there is a good amount of space around the screen protector, and the case does not flex. So far the two cases that I recommend to use with the Whitestone Dome Glass screen protector are the Trianium Clarium case (amzn.to/2jJdmjX) and the Apple Leather Case (amzn.to/2B2pt6n). Let me know if you have any other questions.

Is the Otterbox Symmetry case compatible with this screen protector? Also, I'm not doubting that this screen protector is good or not, but why does it have bad reviews on Amazon?

I'm not sure if it's compatible with the Otterbox Symmetry; you can see the specs of the screen protector on my website and try to contact Otterbox see if they can give you a response. The reviews are terrible on Amazon, the reason is because it it NOT easy to install, and a lot of people mess up. And if you mess up, it's hard to fix it, so you end up wasting your money. Hi Abir, yeah, I was afraid of that too! The top speaker and microphones are protected by the sticker they included with the package. But the bottom speaker, you just have to be careful, and make sure you wipe away the adhesive if it gets on the bottom speaker, I didn't have any problems with this. The bottom speakers and microphones have large holes so they are fairly easy to remove the glue. Good luck! Right on Iton. I'm not a huge fan of screen protectors, typically, but this one is pretty unique and I do like mine! But keeping it real, It is kinda expensive, and if you need that video light (YN-216: amzn.to/2A7dIIZ )... I think the Video Light is a higher priority. Just my opinion. I bought the Whitestons Dome glass protector twice and every time the glue moves towards the side of my phone and I end up wasting the adhesive. Keep in mind I am placing my phone on a flat surface and I've used 2 types of levels to make sure my surface is flat. But every time, the glue moves once I finish pouring it onto the screen (before I place the protector on it). So when I do try to control it and tilt it, the glue never touches the protector like it should because the adhesive is so spread out and sometimes runs off the phone. Any tips on preventing it from moving? I don't understand how it happens.

One time I spent 45 on a glass screen protector for my 7plus (current phone) and i dropped it later that night face down annnnd it broke, my phone was perfect but the screen was dead. So it did exactly as it said it would I was just bummed Because I had to get a new screen protector

I don't think that price point is worth it. I got a glass screen protector for my iPhone SE for $2 at Five Below! Also came on flawlessly! I would have never even known it was there if I had not put it on myself. No air bubbles what so ever. Only problem was that it only came with one protector. Either way, I ended up doing it right on my first try.

Does it ruin the face of the phone, if it has to come off? I always worry because what if it needs to be changed?
That’s a VERY good question. It removes super easy! All you do is lift it with a fingernail, slowly and carefully. When it comes off, all the adhesive will be on the screen protector and your phone will contain absolutely no adhesive. It is almost like magic, not a single trace of adhesive will be left on the phone. :)

Hi Dat Boi, Great question! I use 3D touch often, mainly with iMessage, and haven't noticed any difference. I used the phone without the screen protector for 2 weeks and for about 1.5 week with the screen protector. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

Hamaza Vids, this is a VERY good question. When you take off the protector, ALL the adhesive stays on the screen protector and the phone screen is 100% clean, not a single bit of adhesive will stick to the screen. It's like magic! They really *did* think of everything, LOL, that's why this screen protector costs so much.

I never use a screen protector, and I never have scratches. I dropped my phone once, broke the screen, and the screen protector was still intact.
No and just take an alcohol wipe and wipe it down after removing it in case there is any residual. The loca is a oil substrate, so when you install, you need to leave it alone overnight, some oil will seep out the edges and just wipe it with a lint free cloth in the morning.

Yep, you're correct, it's not very case friendly. However, there are some cases that do fit the phones with the Domeglass Screen Protector, even for the s8+ and the iPhone X. (for the iPhone X, the Apple Silicon case fits, I did a review on that).

Thanks, my friend! Yeah, you can easily have a custom email address if you already own the domain name. You can either have your webhost host your email (no additional cost). Or you can use Google G Suite Service which will host the email address for you and it will work "just like" a gmail account, this cost is usually $5 per month.

Hah my bad, not THAT similar. Just a glass protector with a tray to avoid alignment issues. I think it was a solid heat activated adhesive. I def like it, but I didn't put it on lol. Every time I've tried to put on screen protectors I hate them, but the people at the store did a good job.

This is the first and only screen protector that performs and looks just like the native screen.... But it *is* dang expensive. It's a premium for sure.... But given that Apple is quoting $500+ for a phone screen replacement on the iPhone X right now, I think I'll play it safe w/ this screen protector. =)
