gimme the better floating notes! hands down!!
Istg, when is floating notes 2.0 coming out!
agree, I'm also waiting
Thanks for the shoutout! Pedro is correct that the primary purpose of seeking UI feedback was rubber ducking and quick ideation. If you're interested in the specifics of the example I mentioned, here they are:
I was working on a personal website where the hero image is a Three.js scene that renders models of a coffee cup and a mechanical keyboard. I wanted to brainstorm how to make the scene more interesting, so I sent a screenshot to AI Chat and asked for suggestions on improving it.
The vision model was able to correctly identify the objects in the scene and gave me a large list of ideas. Here are some examples:
- "Animation: Adding subtle animations to the text and images when they appear can make the site feel more dynamic. For instance, the cup could steam and the text could have a slight fade-in effect."
- "Mouse Interactivity: Introduce parallax effects where the keyboard and cup move slightly as the mouse moves."
- "Hover Effects: Enhance buttons and links with hover effects to make the site feel more interactive. For example, the coffee cup could tilt slightly on hover or the keys on the keyboard could light up."
The ideas it provided weren't necessarily things I hadn't thought of, but the fact that the model gave me feedback that was very specific to my UI was really cool! I will definitely be exploring this more and will share if I come across anything particularly compelling.
Would be great if the screenshot OCR feature could search through subfolders aswell
It will be cool to get
Midjerny or leonardo for pics
And something like gpts
please add a way to delete all chats. I manually have to delete chats individually. which is very annoying.
⌘ K → Delete All Chats (or ⌃ ⇧ X)
+1
@@raycastapp oh okay thanks.
I don't understand. Is the Cleanshot feature live or coming? I'm on 1.78.1 and can't find this feature...
I'm on v4.7.2 (c869b83) and it's the bottom right corner of the window. I wonder if it's not available to Setapp subscribers?
@@ChrisMessina Yes! I thought it was Raycast but it was CleanShot X that needed to update.
another feature request: a command to repeat/rerun last ran command. sometimes i need to rerun a command I recently ran.
↑ arrow is your friend here (like in Terminal)
The 'Run Last Command' command would also do the trick. Assigning a hotkey to it can also be handy.
@@NormCopeland thank you this is what i exactly want
@@raycastapp nope, arrow up doesn't do it for me. the comment @NormCopeland does it. thanks
Great! 'Run Last Command' it is 👌
It would be great to be able to drop images directly in the raycast popup instead of ai chats (which I love but this is an extra step rn). It would be handier and you'd prepare the base for the vision and audio input as well.
Continuous vision/audio*
