NOTHING. The movie needed a sequel, though. It deserved it for staying as close to the original, sans goofy aliens, anthropomorphic vegetables, etc.

I grew up watching LOS when it first aired on TV in the 60s. This, by far, is the best version. The movie’s pretty good, too.

The movie was actually better than it was given credit for. My favorite quote from the movie is "Evil knows evil".
