Development is good but I wish it was more holistic. The traffic at that section of Brunswick is alot with Irie Jerk, the bars and the other jerk stands. The road drainage is poor. Sigh. In an ideal world, the road would be expanded, drainage put in and the other areas would be upgraded. Just goes to show people in authority lack vision. I'm not bashing. We can do so much better but I will wait to see what the development would be like.
I'm totally in agreement with you. I lives in Ensom Acres, that's North of The Mormons Church, hence the back of my yard is to the western end to this development. I for one welcome this new Sagicor development, but quite frankly there's bound to be a traffic congestion on The Brunswick, and it's not going to be pretty.
@@wide-eyedwonderer4524 Another important aspect of this development/project is that the entrance to the residential section will be taken from Nugent Street (Buck Town). That particular road way which stretches from Brunswick Street into Ensom City is extremely narrow (except for Gordon Boulevard) and is the recipe for traffic hazard. That is going to need a massive road expansion in order to accommodate that heavy flow of traffic that is expected.
@@wide-eyedwonderer4524 Yes Claudia, that is how I understand it listening to Kedescia's comments when she said that "..........It's A Residential & Commercial development. From The Proposed Sign, Both Will Have separate Entry Security Booth. The Residential Part of The Development Will Be To The Back (Buck Town end) And Feature Town Houses & Apartments......" From what I've observed, the back couldn't mean nowhere else but Nugent Street. You & I know that that is going to be a disaster where traffic is concerned. Truth be told, there's not much expansion that can be done to that "Buck Town" road way eh nuh, but we leave that to the engineers, they will have to figure that one out.

Hi, Sagicor is responsible for this development

"Now Sagicor once being the capital of Jamaica" 🤔
Yeah... that part threw me off too lol. I think she meant, "Now Spanish Town, once being the capital..."
These will be for the elites 😪
