Frame of Cagiva is so much better. If you look at it from the inside it looks as neat and beautiful as it does from the outside. Aprillia frame just cheeply 'polished' from outside and ugly visible melting structure on the inside. Cagiva all the way!
throttle cable is sticking at 4000 rpm, adjust the throttle cable, you should be able to tighten it using an allan key in the official aprilia tool kit provided under the passenger seat, I believe you can adjust it at the handle bar, personally i would replace it and check the entire mechanism, sticky throttle is a shit situation.

I love the death rattle of a two stroke as it ticks over. Sounds like the Aprillia throttle cable is sticking open, slack cable.
