I thought the same too, but instructions said to use the included O-Ring and it is the tip that creates the small gap. When clamped down it is all really tight with no leaks between the muffler and end cap/tip.
I just got my m7 today, couldn't take the smile off my face it gets heads turning alright! Much, much, much, lighter than the stock "robot leg" haha I miss the thumping sound of the engine a wee bit though
Yeah, when I inserted the o ring on mine, there was a noticeable gap, so I took it off and the cap is flush. No movement or rattling when I took it out for a test run. Looks like this guy might want to try it with out the o ring but if he's happy than leave it. Though it does look like he has a similar gap to what I had.
I'm running the FCR-MX Carb, open airbox. Running this exhaust you really should have your stock carb jetted, especially if you are an open airbox which in that case it is absolutely necessary.
hay i dont know too much about this type of stuff but this video watch?v=VQc-g9tNyJ0 leads me to believe that you have used the wrong o-ring or maybe you werent even supposed to use an o-ring, because it looks like there is a small gap between the tip and the rest of the exhaust on its side
