I've always loved how she layers her songs with different vocals, often singing in very different ways that sound incredible together. I especially like when she's singing normally with her belting vocals in the background or vice versa. I've never been too crazy about the whisper singing, tbh, but it does add a nice added layer in a lot of her songs as well.

Thanks for Nothing is a good song and catchy, but Jermaine compressed the sound waves of her voice too much, and it creates an electronic sound to the voice, which you hear in a lot of musicians' songs now. She doesn't need that much sound wave compression. Pre 2000, less sound compression was done with most songs, so it's why it's easier to listen to older songs for a longer stretch of time. More compressed sound waves hurt your ears after so many minutes.
Though great, these are definitely not THE best background vocals out of all her songs, but it really all comes down to just being a matter of opinion. After reading through the comments, I actually came across far better examples, but again, it's just opinion versus opinion.
Idk i think intros are kinda outdated like I sat and thought that intros are really kinda not necessary and only get in the way of the viewers just enjoying the video
