Loved watching Garrison run. He had the quickness and strength the burst through the line, and the speed to outrun most DB's when in the open field. It was heartbreaking to see him break his leg in 1999 and after that, he was never the same. These videos also show the great downfield blocking the 49ers had with 74 Dave Fiore and 81, the great and crazy Terrell Owens. He was a beast of a blocker...
NGL I got chills watching this Garrison Hearst is one of my all time favorites. Also re seeing all those runs getting some great blocking down field was awesome to witness. 2023 with CMC & Aiyuk Deebo and Kittle I'm reminded of those great teams! Great Video you deserve more followers keep it up!!
Just think . This was after his knee injuries. I wish he had a healthier lengthier career. I was happy when signed with the 49ers. He was the next RB I excited to watch behind Barry Sanders when he came into the league in 93. I never forget Garrison was a runner-up for the Heisman the year with Marshall Faulk and Gino Toretta.
I was mad that the 49ers let him go after the 2003 season but understandable he's getting old and is injury prone I just wished they didn't make Kevan Barlow the starteing RB for the 49ers he was garbage and can't even carry the ball more that 10 yards. I would've at least make Maurice Hicks the starting RB instead of him during the 2004 before Drafting Frank Gore to be the Official Replacement at least
Just look at 81 TO blocking down field! Hearst was so good with the 9ers in that era!
Anyone else see T. O. Chasing down all those blocks? Second best part of this video
And 57 to chase him down
Garrison Hearst was my ever first 49ers Jersey I purchase..⛏️❤️💛🖤⛏️ 🤙🏾
96 yrd walkoff, now thats elite 🤝🏾

If he didn’t get injured against falcons 9ers should’ve got 6 💍
I concur and say this same thing to people all the time…😢
