The only concert photography I do is chamber or full size orchestras. We usually have good lighting at most venues, but one challenge I've come across is LED lighting when shooting with silent shutter.
Did you ever use a nice wide prime to shoot a concert ?
I totally would....but I don't do it very often. It all depends on the venue and where I would be shooting from.
